It was a pleasure to stay at Pension Natividad. The place is safe and the staffs are warm in welcoming their guests.
8.5
Been here a couple of times. The value is good, but the rooms also need upgrading. During a circuit problem that prevented electricity into our room, they moved us to a better room in a flash.

Great value for money. Location is perfect and is very accessible. The room is big and toilets are clean. Though the building itself is old, it still is well maintained.

Quaint, clean hostel
This quaint and clean hostel located in Malate is a really good choice for budget travel. The beds are comfortable with warm showers. They also have private rooms for travelers who don’t want to be in the dorms and those are well priced as well. I loved how quiet this hostel is, so if you’re someone that like to read or work, then you’ll be fine here. The internet only works in the lobby and restaurant so don’t expect to be laying on your bed and chatting on line.

One of the Most Magical Places in Malina
Its has beautiful grounds with cozy comfortable rooms with a genuine flare. The whole operation is seamless: it is clean and the food is great. Two major components of Pension Natividad that make it the absolute best are the staff and the common spaces. The staff are warm, interested, and helpful. On my many stays here I have grown so close with the staff I feel they are like friend or family. The common spaces are fun and have an awesome retro art deco! There are so many spots to eat, drink and talk with the many travelers coming through! Added bonuses are the fast wifi, hot high pressured showers, and being able to use the kitchen and refrigerator. I love my stays at Pension Natividad! It is Manila to me!

Great Place!
We stayed there for about one week in mid March 2017. The place is in a lovely art deco building. We stayed on the fourth floor in the back of the building, with two single beds, a fan, and a private bathroom. Room was large and clean. As expected, it gets hot in Manila in March (40 degrees), and being an art deco building, the rooms naturally get hot. We had a fan, which was actually quite efficient. The room itself and the beds were comfy and nice. The staff were always friendly and nice to deal with. They have an on-board cafe, which serves meals 24 hours, and they have little snacks around the lobby for purchase (cookies, noddles, etc). The cost of the food was quite decent! My favourite was the Club Sandwich with Cheese - highly recommended! There was a security guard at the front at all times. There was a homeless family living across the street (which we fed on our last night - lovely family!). The area has a lot of homelessness and street kids, so it can be tough for the first time visitor to such a country. However I didn't feel unsafe, as there were many hotels and banks in the area surrounded by security guards. Highly recommend this place! There is a lot of street noise and hens at all hours of the night.

Clean Safe and Friendly
This is a wonderful homey pension house. It has been well maintained through the years and many of their rooms have recently renovated bathrooms. The hot water and air-conditioning are reliable. There is good wifi in common areas. They have a cafe that is open 24/7 with yummy healthy options. It is well secured and safe. The staff is helpful and make it a great experience. Great budget accommodations! I have been there many times every year from 2004-2017

Nice and quiet hotel.
Classy Art Déco building with hard wood floor makes the experience very different from the average budget hotels; it has aged with elegance. Moreover, although is located in Malate, close to a lot of restaurants and commerce and only two blocks away from the Baywalk, it's far enough from noisy Adriatico St., so you can enjoy a quiet stay here. Rooms and bathrooms are clean enough and there are lockers in the lobby so you can put your valuables in there. Although the restaurant in the first floor only serves breakfast, it makes them 24 hours and it's good. So bad there's no wi-fi in the rooms, only at the lobby and restaurant, but it's not unbearable slow like other hotels I suffered in the country. The staff is friendly and respond nicely to your needs. My initial plan was to stay here for only one night and then move to a cheaper hotel, but once I arrived I loved the place and decided to stay my whole stay in Manila.
