People's Lodge and Restaurant

With a terrace facing the world-renowned Banaue Rice Terraces, People’s Lodge and Restaurant is a rustic inn and the ideal jump-off point to explore Banaue and its tribal villages and stunning views.

About two hours from Bagabag Airport, the lodge offers airport transfers and shuttle services at surcharge, with car and bicycle rental easily arranged through the round-the-clock reception for the guest’s convenience. It can be quite tricky to tour the area as it requires light trekking; luckily, the tour desk at the inn can provide assistance with booking and scheduling.

Guests can visit the Banaue View Point 12 minutes away and then follow it up with a traditional Ifugao cultural show at the Banaue Ethnic Village five minutes from the property. They can also head to the Banaue Public Market across the hostel and go souvenir shopping at the many stalls selling wood carvings and hand-woven cloth. Dinner and drinks can be had at the hostel’s in-house restaurant, one of the more popular dining places in Banaue serving authentic local cuisine.

For home-cooked meals, People’s Lodge and Restaurant has a shared kitchen and lounge as well as an alfresco BBQ area ideal for fun times with the family. Additional services and amenities include private express check-in and checkout, a mini market and gift shop on site, and internet access throughout the property.

Clean and simply furnished with all the basic amenities of home, the lodge offers three options namely Budget Twin Room, Standard Family Room, and Double Room with a view of the mountains. It has WiFi and all en suite bathrooms have a shower and include complimentary toiletries and towels. Room service is also available at the lodge.
