Me and my friend had a great 3 days 2 nights stay at this hotel. The staff are very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay here, and if ever we'll be back at Negros, we'll be checking in here again.

The overall was Average... Except for the Meal. Expensive breakfast not worth it for 290.00 pesos Breakfast only 1 juice and coffee for beverage and the rest.. Nothing new or special with the food.. Preservative and oily hotdogs and deep fried fish fillet full of oils.. Swimming pool cannot swim too many activities.. good for conferences and nice building appearance newly renovated and clean and nice staffs.. But average hotel.

Nice Hotel , But...
Nice hotel but staff need training. No bar service at pool. Room service slow and inaccurate. No tourist accommodation ie: adapters etc. had to ask for towels! No hand or wash cloths. No mini bar. I would stay here again only because of appearances. Would recommend but needs improvement!

Bacolod Trip 2017
We are a family of 5 who went to Bacolod to attend the Maskara festival. Unfortunately, the hotel was already fully booked for October 21 & 22. So we stayed at the family house. The receptionist anyhow advised us that starting the 23rd there would be available rooms. We checked in on the 23rd and checked out on the 28th of October. The hotel is strategically located where there are restaurants, convenience stores, laundry shop nearby. Transportation is easy as well since it's along the main road. The room we stayed in was a Superior Deluxe. We had to get an extra bed so we can sleep comfortably. And the extra bed is a folding bed with a thick mattress which is good. I was actually expecting the extra bed to be just a mattress to be put on the floor. Personally, I think the room was cozy enough with comfortable beds and duvet though the pillows can be improved. The T&B came with a bath tub but we didn't use it. Both the shower and faucet have heaters. There is no bidet though or dipper. Housekeeping was very efficient to clean the room and replenish supplies (fresh towels, shampoo, coffee, stirrer). They cleaned our room even when we were not there and not a single item got lost. There is a water heater and hair dryer. Room rate comes with breakfast buffet for 1 pax. For additional pax, it's 299/head. Though there is an ala carte menu which I think are reasonably priced. We had breakfast at the hotel daily. Variety of food is not vast. Taste of the food can be improved (for the buffet). Ala carte is a different story though. They have big portions and tasty. My daughter like the lengua. My son liked the steak. My husband liked the mushroom soup. I liked the crispy salmon belly and salad too. For 80 pesos, you can have unlimited brewed coffee. To go around the city, we were always asking front desk staff to hail cabs for us. We usually waited for less than 5 mins. There is a pool in the hotel. I rarely see people swimming there. Not sure why. But the water looks clean anyway. Smoking area is at the garden/pool area. Upon check out, we still have about 3 hours before we need to be at the airport and we wanted to dine at a nearby restaurant. The hotel has a room where luggage can be stored temporarily. Overall, if I were to go back to Bacolod, we'll be staying at the same hotel for its accessibility, reasonable price, cleanliness, courteous staff and general ambiance of the hotel. 👍

First and Last Stay Here
I've stayed in other hotels in Bacolod and would probably return to them in the future. It was OK, but not what I've been used to, especially in Manila. The bathroom was probably the best example where the towels were so thin. Not like the fluffy white towels you'd expect in a hotel. I had to leave the breakfast, it was really bland and not appetizing at all. I guess the saying 'you get what you pay for' is true.

Terrible service
Planta Hotel was the venue of our workshop and I was excited to stay there since it is a converted ice plant, hence the name. Planta. It was an ice plant in my youth. Not that I ever bought ice blocks there. Unfortunately, the hotel peeps are not very accommodating nor friendly. Somebody gave us marang (fruit) and we were told that we cannot eat it inside the hotel. We asked the front desk whether we can eat it in the swimming pool which is open air, we were told no. I wanted to ask if we can eat in the parking lot however, it rained that afternoon. We had to go to my cousin's house and eat it there. Good thing she lived 5 minutes away. I told housekeeping that my toilet bowl is clogged, I was told not to put toilet paper in the bowl. Can you imagine!!!! The upside of the hotel is its food and beverage group which were staffed with nice people. They were very accommodating and pleasant. hence, the 3 stars. else, it would have been 1 star.

Lunch with Family
Visited their hotel's restaurant for lunch. the ambience is quiet, confortable and has a homey feeling and not a lot people goes for lunch their. Their food is quite delicious especially there crispy salmon belly and lechon pakbet and the price is not that expensive. The staff are courteous and friendly. Worth recommending to my friends.
