How to Get to San Vicente from Manila and Major Philippine Cities

For travelers coming from Manila and other major Philippine cities, reaching San Vicente primarily involves air travel for efficiency. Flights to San Vicente Airport (also known as El Nido Airport) are the quickest option, with fares typically ranging from PHP 4,000 to PHP 8,000 for a round trip, depending on booking time and airline promotions. These vans offer a balance between cost and travel time, typically taking 3-5 hours depending on your starting point and road conditions. Fares usually range from PHP 500 to PHP 800. Having your own vehicle is also an option, with well-maintained roads leading to San Vicente, though be prepared for longer driving times from Luzon.

Best Time to Visit San Vicente

The ideal time for Filipino travelers to visit San Vicente is generally during the dry season, which runs from November to May. During these months, you can expect sunny skies, calmer seas, and lower chances of rainfall, making it perfect for island hopping, beach activities, and exploring the natural attractions. The peak tourist season usually falls between December and February, so expect larger crowds and potentially higher accommodation prices during this period.

For those who prefer a more tranquil experience and potentially better deals on accommodation and tours, the shoulder months of November, March, April, and May can be excellent choices. While there's a slightly higher chance of occasional rain showers, these periods still offer plenty of sunshine and fewer tourists. The wet season, from June to October, sees more frequent rainfall, which can sometimes disrupt boat tours and outdoor activities, though it also brings lush greenery to the landscape and fewer visitors.

Chambre correct, personnels bien, emplacement, tot pres de la plage centre, magasin resto, comfort bien. Towels are not cotton they are in polyester, so they don't absorb humidité. They don't glasses in the room so if you need, you have to ask the personnel everytime. They have free dinking water but in containers outside the room. They use plastic plates tomeat. I recommend not to use plastic plates The canals are in front of the hotel since the hotel is infront of the road and it stinks. Not the fault of the hotel but the drainage STP of Port Barton is not done. Hotel owners and business people and the government should work together to do a good water sewarage system.
