Romantic Vacation
The experience is good but the common CR has no lock luckily we stayed on Monday and there are only less than 5 guests. Though we understand that the check in time is 2pm but I think they can just let us check in earlier as we just need to place our things there and proceed to our whole day Samal Inland Tour. All in all it is okay. 👍

The room next to us was very noisy. They were drunk until 5am. We went there to relax but we end up being stressed. I just don't like the idea that the resort allowed such kind of activity most specially in that hour. They should have got a private room instead of the non-air rooms that is too close to each other.

Family vacation
We weren’t able to check-in on our booked room and the water supply was insufficient. There were a lot of flies outside our room the next morning. The shore wasn’t clean and you can see some unhygienic things floating. Overall we were unsatisfied with the place.

Room was okay in relation to the amount of money we have paid. We went there as walk in guest and was given a rate of 2160 for 2pax with bfast, room with AC. Luckily, when I checked traveloka, the rate was 2057 and there was an available promocode, less 600 so we have saved a lot. Their restaurant is only until 7:30pm for dinner. The following day, there was no in charge of their mini store, I couldn’t buy a bottle of water. I suggest for them to include a free bottle of water for their in house guest, 😉

Romantic Vacation
The resort is very dirty! There are too many garbages surrounding the seashore! No one from the management or staff of the resort cleaned the garbages, until some of the guest are taking pictures of the garbages. The staff of the resort are very rude to their guests. Highly not recommendable!.

Punta del Sol Samal Beach Resort is the perfect choice for travelers looking for a relaxing escape in Davao. Located on the Island Garden City of Samal, the resort not just offers comfortable rooms and delicious food, but also beautiful views and multiple recreational facilities.
Travelers coming from the Francisco Bangoy International Airport have an additional 48-minute drive to make to get to the hotel. Those coming from the Samal Ferry wharf have 37 minutes of driving ahead of them. The San Juan Beach is four minutes away by foot, while Canibad Beach is 29 minutes away by car.
Accommodations at the resort range from themed rooms to cottages. Guests can expect air-conditioning, a television, and a balcony in most rooms. A bathroom with a shower and a basic set of toiletries are also available. Dorm rooms are also available to barkadas, office outings, and the like.
The in-house restaurant is where guests can head if they’re hungry. The food on offer includes Filipino favorites like sinigang and tinola, and drinks range from sodas to alcoholic beverages. Meanwhile, those looking to host social or corporate gatherings can do so at the function hall, which can hold up to 100 people.
Recreational activities available to guests include scuba diving, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, jetskis, and banana boats. Guests can also choose from multiple tour options. Tours include a combined two-day, one-night Samal Island Inland Tour, Talikud Inland Tour, and Island Hopping Tour. A Davao Countryside Tour is also available to guests.
