Rooms and staff okay, restaurants is a JOKE
Rooms are okay, compared to large American style places you won't be getting the same type of accommodation but it's all right for Filipino standards.
We had air conditioning in all rooms, it was actually cold enough that we needed to turn it down.
Kitchen had weak old fridge likely 25+ years old. The freezer worked well but the fridge wasn't able to keep drinks very cold.
The kitchen is a joke. They closed over an hour early out last night. This is a problem because you're way off the main road, and you won't be getting anywhere at 930 pm easily without taxis etc. So you can't even buy a cold drink.
I wouldn't even mention this had I not ordered a coffee at around 830pm and asked when they closed to be told that they closed at 1030pm. Waited to get the wife situated after a long day and ready to order, only to be told that they were randomly closed an hour early.
That, combined with the fact that getting to food and refreshments for some is definitely NOT approachable at night (language barrier, security etc etc) knocks a full 2 stars down off the rating.
On a plus side, the staff tried very hard to serve us and be nice. The owner seems to be an old English guy that doesn't like Filipinos very much and that's a shame.
WiFi is decent in the room. Great at the pool. Depends on huh device. One of my tablets failed and one did well connecting close to 100% of the time.
