Please be informed on the following COVID-19 Quarantine Guidelines: As of 02 August 2021 (changes are made based on Memo Circular 2021-16 from BOQ) As part of our response to make your stays safe, clean, and sanitized, we are taking these extra steps in compliance with the government guidelines for the COVID-19 pandemic for your peace of mind: 1. Our hotels follow strict COVID-19 protocols for everyone's safety. 2. Guests traveling for business are required to present two of the following documents upon check-in: • Current Company ID • Endorsement Letter from their company • Appointment letter • Or similar to prove business purpose 3. APOR guests are required to present necessary documents as needed. APORs include: • Health and emergency frontline service personnel • Government officials and Government frontline personnel • Authorized humanitarian assistance actors • Persons travelling for medical / humanitarian reasons • Persons going to the airport for travel abroad • Anyone crossing zones for work / business permitted in the zone and going back home 4. Requirements such as a confirmed booking with an accredited quarantine facility, length of stay, and other restrictions are set for travelers arriving to the Philippines. 5. Maximum occupancy for quarantine hotels is one person per room. A maximum of two persons per room for quarantine stays may be accepted for: 1. Families from the same household travelling together, especially those with minors. 2. Health and emergency frontline services personnel. 3. Guests requiring a companion: i. 17 years old and below; and 66 years and older ii. Guests needing special assistance (e.g., Senior citizens, PWD, with chronic medical illness) 6. Maximum occupancy for non-quarantine hotels is two adults and one child (12 yrs old and below) in existing bedding. 1. Families from the same household travelling together, especially those with minors. 7. Food deliveries are temporarily not allowed for quarantine hotels. 8. Delivery of medicine and medical supplies for quarantined guests is allowed until the hotel lobby only. The items will be delivered to the guest’s room by our staff. 9. As of July 30, 2021: I. Qualified for 7-day facility-based quarantine: a) Verified fully vaccinated traveler - Day 1 is date of arrival (except for seaport arrivals wherein day 1 starts upon hotel check-in) - RT-PCR test on the 5th day - Symptoms monitoring during quarantine period - Discharge on the 8th day with BOQ certificate - Requires a minimum of 7 nights stay in the hotel II. Qualified for 10-day facility-based quarantine a) Unvaccinated, non-fully vaccinated or unverified vaccination status - Day 1 is date of arrival (except for seaport arrivals wherein day 1 starts upon hotel check-in) - RT-PCR test on the 7th day - Discharge on the 10th day with Quarantine Certificate - Requires a minimum of 9 nights stay in the hotel III. Qualified for 14-day facility-based quarantine a) Passengers/ repatriates coming from countries with travel restrictions - Day 1 is date of arrival (except for seaport arrivals wherein day 1 starts upon check-in) - RT-PCR test on the 7th day - Discharge on the 15th day with BOQ certificate - Requires a minimum of 14 nights stay in the hotel 10. Effective on July 7, 2021, per the announcement of our national government, guests regardless of their vaccination status and whose purpose of stay is non-quarantine related (business, APOR, leisure) are required to present a negative RT PCR result taken within 48 hours prior to arrival date. This applies only for domestic travel within areas under the General Community Quarantine and the Modified General Community Quarantine 11. Under GCQ: a. All Red Planet hotels are currently used as quarantine facilities, except for Red Planet Quezon Timog. b. Red Planet Quezon Timog may accommodate guests for leisure, business purposes, APOR. Stays related to leisure/ business purpose, during other forms of GCQ or as per announcement of the government, may be restricted or not allowed. c. Requirements for leisure, business purposes, APOR: • If travelling for leisure, o Negative RT PCR or antigen test result is required for the following: Guests below 18 years old Guests 18 years old and above but have not received the complete dose of the vaccine yet. *RT PCR (valid within 48 hours prior to arrival date) *Antigen (valid within 24 hours prior to arrival date) • If travelling for business, two guests can share a room provided that both guests can present a negative RT PCR or antigen test result. • For APOR, proof of same residence (i.e.: ID which shows the same address) must be presented for guests sharing one room. A max of two adults and one child (12 years old and below) is allowed to share a room in existing beddings. *RT PCR (valid within 48 hours prior to arrival date) *Antigen (valid within 24 hours prior to arrival date) d. A disinfection fee of PHP 500 is collected upon check in from: • Quarantine guest is found positive for COVID-19 • Failure to present a negative RT PCR / antigen test result e. For long staying guests on non-quarantine-related stays, whose booking exceeds 13 nights: • A negative RT PCR tests (taken within 48 hours prior to arrival date) is required. • A disinfection fee of Php 500 is collected per stay upon checkout. 12. Under MGCQ: a. Red Planet Cebu may accommodate leisure, business, and distressed guests, except quarantine stays. b. Beginning July 18, 2021, Red Planet Angeles will operate as a quarantine facility and allowed to accept bookings for quarantine purpose only. c. Please refer to Item #11 c,d,e 11. Under ECQ/ MECQ: a. Red Planet Cagayan de Oro and Red Planet Davao may accommodate “Long Staying Guests, Returning Residents, APORs who require accommodation related to their official function or duty, except Health and Emergency Frontline Service Personnel.” 12. Housekeeping services are limited in all community quarantine statuses in compliance to the IATF protocols for reducing risk of transmission of the COVID-19. 13. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, our hotels may request additional documents from guests to validate their identity and / or purpose of stay, and other necessary information, in accordance with the Data Privacy Law. 14. Our hotels are currently on reduced front desk operating hours. Latest check in time is at 10PM. 15. We encourage our guests to check announcements and other helpful information from the official websites and social media accounts of the Inter-Agency Task Force or the local government units 16.
