People insisted this was the closest hotel to the airport ... we just wanted somewhere to rest our bags and get a quick sleep (didn't have to be terribly nice just average). But I was pretty much afraid to sleep. Everything is very old, run down and I didn't want to even sleep under the sheets for fear of what might be in the mattress/sheets. I wouldn't stay here again. Would rather do the airport. Overpriced for a terrible stay.

Rogers Place Hotel not good.
My experience at Rogers Place Hotel was no good at all except staff is good. Good location if need to get connecting flight but over all NO good. Plenty of places to buy food very close to Hotel,Many Inasel.Jollie Bee.No internet in my room TV has 3 or 4 channels all Philippina channels only NO cable TV Room was dirty for such expensive Hotel 2,885. Peso per night. Staff did not know the price of carvings they sell. I was very unhappy with price per night for what you got. Far choice of your free breakfast. Staff did not tell me when i checked in that there is hot water in cupboard to turn on..

Not as good as my 1st stay
This is the 2nd time I stayed in this hotel. My first stay was good so I decided to book again, this time with my family. I booked for a family room with 2 king beds thats can occupy 6pax. So since we are only 4, we had enough space. The bellboy who helped us with our 6 luggages was one of the best employees I encountered aside from the reception ladies who always gives you a sweet smile. We arrived at 10pm and the bellboy (forgot to get his name) was so helpful that he even helped me to buy an adaptor. That guy deserves a shout out!! As a person working in a hotel abroad, customer service matters a lot. Reception is just located just beside the foreign exchange office so since I need to change my money, I went to the next counter to ask. The lady there was on the phone while I was standing infront of her. I waited until shes done coz it might be an important call. When she was done, I asked her how much is the exchange rate, she just gave me a glance and asked her colleague for something and even asked her to hand her over another phone. I asked her again, no response. I thought she will be checking the rate from the phone, instead she made another call again and just ignored me. I was so tired from 8 hours flight and 12 hours lay over and not in a mood to argue so I left the counter and went to my room. The room was so spacious, wifi is strong which i really love. But the toilet flush wasnt working. Again, the very kind guy who helped us with our luggages was the one who helped us to fix it. Salamat again kuya! Went for a shower and the shower head was having a problem. Water doesnt really flow properly so since its too late, we didnt bother to call them. Instead my husband fix it by himself. He opened the shower head and clean it as its full of rust and dirt. The hot water is not stable. It will come and go. During my first stay, there was a complimentary water given but this time there wasnt. We woke up with the housekeeping staffs chatting loudly and laughing. Since we were so thirsty, I went out and asked for a water from one of the staffs there. He nodded but NO water was given until we checked out. So dissapointed with the simplest request but they couldnt give. Still the chatting and laughing continues that you can even hear it from inside your room. A single word was even heard. I dont think the rate that I paid was worth with the service given to us that even a single bottle of water wasnt given. My first imppression was gone but thankful for the very helpful porter and courteous receptionist.

A dump in a distressing environment
This place should not be called 'hotel' but short-term lodging facility. Rooms are dingy and extremely poorly maintained. Interesting sign over the toilet paper: "Do not throw used toilet paper in the toilet but in the waste bin to avoid clogging" ????? Located in an industrial complex with only fast food outlets (Shakeys, Jollibee, etc) and a very mediocre Chinese restaurant next door. At PHP 3100 a total rip-off.
