A Hotel for Koreans only
Royal hotel in Angeles Pampanga Is for korean people only... The foods available are mostly Korean foods even the free breakfast (we only ate rice egg and bread) The person answering the phone in room service is Korean speaking .... They did not bring us to our room... No free coffee ... The room is not that "clean". No non-smoking room ... The TV channels are mostly Korean channels... The pool is not child friendly...the receptionist told me she is new and not oriented so if you ask her she will always say she is not sure...To sum it up the Royal Hotel now SW Hotel is Not recommendable...

Not as advertised, fine if you eat Kimchi.
I booked this hotel from a website which had it marked in the wrong place. Strike One. It is way south of the airport. Room smells, shower has tempermental hot water, no shower curtain so the toilet seat is taking a shower with you. TV is as small as my laptop, has about 5 channels and probably 3 are Korean. Cleanliness is lacking, dead flies are everywhere. Only serves Korean food. WiFi is not free in all rooms! You have to pay 500Pesos for a router. Saving grace....... Staff are friendly Has a golf course. If you are not playing golf at it's golf course, choose another hotel.

They need to improve on a lot of things! As in a lot!
Where do I begin? 1) Finding the hotel; good luck as it is located in the remote area somewhere in Angeles. If you don't have a car, don't ever think of making a reservation here 2) Upon check-in; the room that they have given us had a strong cigarette smell when we had requested for a non-smoking room as we have allergies. They transferred us to another room which I strongly assume, they had just sprayed on some air freshener as it still has traces of smoke. As we are too tired to complain, we decided to just bear with it. 3) Housekeeping knocked twice in our room even though we had a DND sign on! 2 days in a row! I am not too sure though if the HK staff actually understood the "DND" sign in the door belll 4) The manager informed us that the unlimited samgyeopsal was Php250 but it is actually Php300. Then, without checking told us that she will just give back the Php100. wow. the point is, she doesn't know the information about her hotel. (We had the sizzling eel for dinner at php1500 btw)5)cockroach in the public comfort room 6) buffet breakfast spread was for Koreans 7) the poor staff needs training, though they are doing the best they can at customer service.

Better choices are available in area
Upon arrival, room offered was extremely small. Toilet did not flush, no remote for TV, and no hot water. No elevator, so stairs it was! Door to room, opens into hallway, which is inconvenient. Breakfast was "Korean", as was the restaurant on premises. Was upgraded to Premium room, after complaining to hotel manager. Was approached by security personnel, when I exited hotel by restaurant, thinking I was departing without checking out! How rude! Room was prepaid, and I was only there for 5 of 14 days reserved. Got 50% discount, but no cancellation or refund. Holiday Inn at Clark is much better choice, IMHO.

Terrible
I have to agree with the review before mine - this hotel is located in the middle of nowhere. No taxis, no stores or restaurants in the area - this hotel shouldn't be posting ads on the internet, as they cannot really cater to the needs of guests/travelers. The wi-fi internet which was supposed to be included in the room did not work, when I informed one of the staff about this, I was told that the wi-fi is only working in the lobby area or the hallways. Really? Am I supposed to stay in the hallway with my computer. I had to pay an additional US$15 to have a router in my room. Just like the reviewer below, I left before my check out date, even though I paid in full. When I asked the receptionist if I will get a refund, she told me "No", and it's because the price I paid was a promotional deal. Their normal rate according to her is PHP3600/night, which is about US85/night. Not suitable for a traveler at all - I wouldn't stay in this place even for free.
