Good for a night cap
Usually consist of two beds in a room. Pillow and blanket are provided with free towel. There is no Wi-Fi nor AC but you can request for an electric fan without an extra charge. They have indoor water closet with hot and cold water but no free toiletries are provided. They have a good view though of the town and a restaurant downstairs. The staff can communicate well in English and friendly enough to make suggestions on how to maximize your trip. Price ranges from 8 to 10 dollars a night

Can be more comfortable
I was not expecting much as Sagada is a remote town in the Mountain Province. Salt and Pepper Inn has been our home away from home for two nights and their rooms do provide the basics: bed, linen, blanket, toilet and cold and hot shower. However, their toilet is manual flashing. Towels are provided for a Php 50 fee. Breakfast is not provided as well.

Lots of room for improvement.
If I hadn't booked for 3 nights here, I would've looked for and transferred to a different place. I booked via Travelbook, paying 2k+ for 3 nights was above average considering Sagada accommodations are pretty cheap. But it was okay, because I booked a couple's room all for myself, so it was like I paid for 2 pax. I arrived there around 9:30am, and thankfully, I was able to check in right away. I think it was the owner who greeted me, and referred me to another person to take me to the room. Not sure if it's just me, but a little warm welcome to someone who just took a 12hr bus ride would've taken their customer service up a notch. The staff are pretty unengaging,.. cold as the Sagada weather, maybe. LOL. Anyway, so I went up to my room. There were 2 beds in there. The staff asked me if I was by myself, and when I said yes, she told me not to use the other bed. While I understand that it would save the environment if I don't mess up both bed sheets, I really think it should've been my prerogative if I'm gonna use it or not, considering I paid for the entire room. The pillows didn't look clean and had no cover, so I can't confirm if the bed sheets and blankets were fresh. I had to cover my pillow with my sarong just to make sure. Moving on to the bathroom, man, the toilet was nasty. You can't see it, but it smelled like it's been used too many times! That was a sure deal breaker. But since I didn't want to ruin my solo adventure, I had to buy Zonrox from the store and poured it in there. True enough, the smell went away, and the toilet looked cleaner. There's a heater, which was a good thing, but the water would be hot for a few seconds, cold for another few, and be hot again. Note: No TV, no WIFI, just beds, a chair and a table in the room. No toiletries too. even tissue I had to buy! Towel can be requested for Php 50! Also, they have a diner but the selection is pricey. Php 180 for monggo and pork would be my benchmark.

Worst Hotel and Restaurant!!!!
The worst hotel and Restaurant. Staff are arrogant and lack of etiquette. Hotel room faucet and flush are not working water temperature automatically goes up to 56 degrees. I hope they change their services because Sagada is a nice place for tourist.

Very Disappointing
My friends and I all agreed that we will not be coming back to this place because of the following reasons: 1. Service was really bad - I am not sure if the staff was even oriented on how to provide good service. I understand that the place was packed but there is no excuse for rudeness. Service is also really slow at their diner even though there are enough staff to accommodate the number of people coming in. 2. Security - if you are to try this place, make sure your stuff are all secured. Why? The door can be opened easily even when it is locked. Just a hard push and the door will open from the outside 3. Room - the place was for 6 people but there are only 2 outlets. 4. Bathroom - shower water temperature automatically goes up to 56 degrees. Faucet and flush dont work I just hope that someone who works there reads this because the place is a tourist spot but service is not tourist friendly.
