Really impressive facility, lovely views, very well kept, better than expected
The view was great, one of the best places in Camotes Island. However, we didn't have internet connection and mobile network (Smart and Sun) which made us completely disconnected to our families in the city. Hope they could fix it. They need to ensure also that bedsheet and pillowcases smell good. Plus the souvenir shop was closed the whole day. Still, the place was relaxing and very beautiful.
When I got there I was led to my room but no assistance was offered to carry my luggage. The aircon was not working but they were able to fix it. I asked if breakfast was already includes but instead of responding, one loud nosy lady hanging out at the reception area said "you should know what you booked". The actual receptionist responded politely. Aside from her the rest of the staff was nice. The room was clean, but the pillows and mattress was old. But this is a room that I got for a cheap price. I can say that it is fairly my money's worth. Recommended if you plan to be out the entire day and just use this room for shower and sleeping.
The place itself is wonderful...had a great experience with my husband.
the room was not that good but the people was amazing.
It was amazing! The pool is terrific and the place is so beautiful. Their live band was wonderful! Definitely enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Santiago Bay.
That place is peaceful, with clean and green environment.
Rooms are outdated, needs to refurbished and aircon is not that cold, though I like the restaurant, food was nice. they have big serving and it's also affordable.
Nice resort but the facility is a little bit outdated for its price. The great thing about it is the location because it is overlooking the famous santiago bay when you search camotes island on google. I had the Ocean View room and its a nice pretty basic room. They provided housekeeping every 2pm with free bottled water- but im not sure if thats the case with other guests. Beach area is great but I feel like its not very well maintained. No one is cleaning the leaves or trash on the beach.l after all it is a public beach and the people living there is also liable. The food on their restaurant can be better, lots of room for improvement but if you want a little cheaper food head down to Pitos Sutokil for their catch of the day. I enjoyed my stay nonetheless, beautiful view and the sand feels like boracay. Staffs are a hit and miss some are friendly while most of them seem miserable and uninterested.
it was awesome! The location is great as well as the service. We'll definitely go back!

Affordable and Accommodating staff
First, I would like to talk about the amount that we paid for the overnight stay. We spent 1500 a night so here's what to expect with this kind of rate. Pros - You get a midsize room with 1 shower and toilet room (in One). - 1 twin size bed - 2 Infinity pools 1 has up to 6 feet deep and 1 has up to 5 feet deep - Beautiful View - A lot of places to take pictures. - You have access to the beach 1 that is shallow the other part is deep. - There's a professional pool table for 100php Per hour - There's a spa with a masseuse. ( This is extra charge) Cons: - No free breakfast - No room service - No communication to room service. - The walls really can't hold the noises outside or noisy people next to your room - The beach full of seaweeds (Looks dirty) It was still a good experience since the staff is nice and greets you when you pass by them. My partner was happy to be there and we enjoyed since the place is mostly quiet. Price:

Horrible customer service
1. Staff members favor certain guests over others. We were a large group and ordered a lot of food. We asked for ice cubes for our drinks but were told there were none. Later on we found out that they were serving others with buckets of ice. 2. Most rooms are in apartment style layout, so if you're looking for quite, peaceful and relaxing stay you wont find it there. 3. Stay away from their massage parlor, the masseuse are very unhygienic. They wont replace the towels that had been recently used.

Excellent Getaway
Santiago Bay Resort is indeed a nice location for a family getaway. The background gives you awesome photos and wonderful memories. Let us start with: Ferry – I chose convenience so I booked FASTCRAFT roundtrip tickets via Jomalia Shipping at 350 each for adults and 170 kids below 6 years old. I don’t want to go to Danao Port as it will take 2 hours to Danao by van and 20 minutes Ferry Ride to Consuelo Port. Jomalia Shipping Ferry in Mactan Wharf only takes 1 hour and 10 minutes to Consuelo Port. Consuelo Port is nearer to Santiago Bay so we took this route. By the way, fare difference between Mactan Wharf and Cebu-Danao Route is only 100 pesos. So if you are travelling with your family, Mactan Wharf Pier is convenient and hassle free. :) Accommodation – We got 2 rooms, 1 Ocean Family Room at 2800php (good for 4 only and resort only allows 1 person excess per room) and 1 Ocean Room good for 2 at 2000 pesos. Extra person at 300 each per night. Rooms are spacious and amenities are great. Swimming Pools – This was one of the reasons why I am lured to book at this resort. Infinity pools overlooking the ocean! There are two infinity pools, one pool is in front of the Ocean Villas and one at the side of the Reception lobby which I am not aware of until after my cousin’s visit last week. :) Food – We had breakfast lunch and Dinner at Pito’s Sutukil just a few meters away from Santiago Bay stairs to Pito’s. Good affordable food! We haven’t tried food from the resort. Tour – We paid 1500 pesos for the tour through Bryan. We were a pack of 10 so we need a Multicab. When you dock at Consuelo Port, multicabs for tours are waiting for you outside. We toured all caves, cliff diving area, and other resorts. Don’t miss watching sunset at Santiago Bay’s sister resort, Mangodlong Resort. Have a wonderful trip to Camotes Island! We will go back there soon!

Nice resort
Nice resort with two pools. It has also the beach, but its quite dirty. Allthought the white beach is just next to it. Big minus, that the staff is not so friendly :( The room is spacious and clean, but the ac is bit powerless
