Arrest these folks for hospitality malpractice!
We were on our way overland through Negros and Panay moving towards Borocay and so Kalibo represented a last stop before the last morning leg to Borocay. This place seemed like a reasonable stopover choice and the wifi was purported to be strong, a rarity in the Philippines. First, we will qualify this denunciation with the information that there was a festival gearing up in Kalibo that week. But later that morning and even a few days later when we drove by, the dynamic of which I will describe was still in full swing. The location is at a busy intersection and so lots of vehicles and scooters are always going through. On the night we stayed there, the loud noises continued right through to early morning, finally ramping down around 5am. We were given a room in the front. The window in that room was the multi slat folding glass variety. Those windows could not close to where there was not a gap of at least a quarter of an inch, so in effect, the room was exposed to all the incoming traffic noise with almost no reduction compared to standing right out front. Result: no sleep. Frankly, I would be surprised if anyone has ever actually slept in this room. The owners of this place should not operate suggesting that room was one where any rest could occur. Well, the wifi was ok. However, the staff was pretty unwelcoming. Maybe they knew what we were going to experience. Early the next morning we left quietly. Until now.

No consideration worst check-out policy
We stayed overnight with my cousin and check-in around 4am and has been charged extra Php100 per hour after 12noon as their policy based on standard check-in/ check-out. We asked for consideration but failed considering that we are also locals. This small inn just wanted to get money with international hotel policy without realizing they are just inn and not even a hotel. Uncomfortable bed and pillow is a minus and also the water is limited in a facet ended up without taking shower before going to Caticlan. There are better Inns around Kalibo so never stayed in this Inn recommended by tricycle driver.

Good Enough to get some rest before heading to Boracay
We stayed here after our flight was delayed pushing us to head to Caticlan the next day. I love the location. It is just beside the vans that will take you to Caticlan and just across a 24-hour convenience store and 2 minute walk to McDonalds. They offer Wifi with one of the biggest bandwidths in Kalibo. It is fairly close to the airport, too. Don't expect anything grand in the hotel room but it is a good place to stay overnight.
