Very nice staff and the owner very is very accommodating. We arrived at 2am and we're allowed to check in with breakfast for that day. They allowed us to cook our food too.

Pros: The location is great. Near public market where you can buy fresh sea foods at a very reasonable price and cook them at Sheryl May free of charge. Hot and cold Purified Water dispenser is available. Hence, you don't have to buy bottled water. You can also have coffee anytime (just buy instant coffee outside). A big savings! Staff are very friendly and common areas are cleaned. You have to request though if you want your room to be cleaned or if you need a new blanket or towel. Bus and shuttle terminal going back to Puerto Princesa is just a walking distance. It's cheaper if you go there directly. We only pay 350 instead of the usual 500-600 pesos if you book it at your hotel or travel tour. Cons: The breakfast is bad. One piece pancake and instant coffee or small cheap hot dog with fried egg, rice and instant coffee. The room is too small no cabinets to keep your things. The curtains is too small as well it doesn't cover the window. People outside can see you.

- Backpacking
They agreed to change our stay period due to some error on our part. Upon arriving to elnido port, a php50 ride to reach the hotel. Pros: room was spacious for 2, had all the basic such as towels, shampoos, soap, tv, aircon and... bidet! Which is a plus! with double deck beds, and extra pillows too! with cctv. To improve on: breakfast serving time (ok it says 7:00-8:00am but it was served about 7:30 already) when you indicate 7am, it should be ready by 7:00am. door locks was difficult, our room was located at ground floor, it felt unsecured although no bad thing happened naman, cr flush was not working.

The room was nice and clean. The bathroom is exceptionally nice and the tiles looked like they were new. There is a balcony on each floor which is for public use - the only downside to this is that some people may be standing outside your window as they use the public balcony. If you want to avoid this, request for a room without a balcony. There is free breakfast usually with watermelons and cucumbers. We had pancakes, and eggs and bread on the other day. The staff are really nice, they even let us use the shower for 50 pesos after our check out since our tour ended much later. The place is located right next to the market and the van terminal. It made everything we need accessible to us: pharmacy, convenience store, street food, grocery.

What I liked most is the view from their shared living room. We had our breakfast in the veranda over viewing the mountains. Also, the location is great: 5 kembot away from the wharf where you will take the island hopping.

Sheryl May Inn offers Asian, vegetarian, and gluten-free meals to its guests at the start of the day. Staff members are both English- and Filipino-speaking, so the natives and foreigners can easily communicate with them. They even give practical advice and help guests with their concerns via the 24-hour front desk.

Just eight kilometers from both the Big Lagoon and Small Lagoon, the hotel is an ideal place for travelers who don’t want to take a long trip to see these gems. The hotel can be reached in less than 30 minutes if guests are coming from Matinloc Shrine, which is only 14 kilometers away from the area. At 60 meters away, the Corong-Corong Beach is the nearest haven where guests can take a refreshing plunge.
