Pleased when I went home.
My wife checked in and found a low standard 1990's room, but price was cheapish. She upgraded to the new block. Room was good overall. Unfinished - missing a couple of lights so cables visible. Had a huge Jacuzzi which was good fun, but you have to call them to turn it on and then you are charged extra if used for more than 1 hr a day. So room was OK, smelt a bit when bathroom exhaust fan drew air through the drain. Swimming pool was good and had fun. It's the biggest asset, but check the slides are open as my wife was under the impression they only open them on weekends - no idea if this is the case. 1 drain cover not on - accident waiting to happen. Some staff were friendly. There were quite a lot of staff in fact, but zero management (if there was a manager there then they are grossly incompetent and have probably never worked in a hotel before). Maintenance of the site was poor. Staff apparently not paid on time, which might account for them not caring. Life guard slept some of the time, watched the pool a little bit. Staff spitting on the floor in the hotel. The restaurant had the ambience of an industrial workshop. Chemical containers left by eating area. ?60 decibel water pump running most the time - can't hear yourself - not at all relaxing. View of paving with weeds growing through - the low level of maintenance reminded me of the Fukashima exclusion zone as it evidently hadn't been touched for ages. You can also view the outside dishwashing area whilst you eat or marvel at the trash bags left in the shower area. Food is quite acceptable for the price but delivered cold in cling film as it comes from the restaurant of another hotel in Splash. Tip #1 - walk 5 minutes up to the cheapest hotel in the Splash resort and order breakfast and food there. It is then warm and you don't have to listen to the water pump drone (why they don't build a wall or move it is beyond me - I just don't think they care). You don't have to sign for food so who knows what they actually put on the bill. In fact, even when you order in the little restaurant they need to go outside to another building to get the bill. LOL. Gym is closed and full of junk. Massage area seems to be closed down. I think this resort has great potential as the warm pools were great but it is just incredibly poorly managed and seemingly no maintenance or checks - they have zero idea of how to run a hotel. Definitely wouldn't stay here again. Tip #2 - Don't stay here as you'll leave more stressed than when you came. Would only recommend it for turning up and paying a low price to swim for the day. I've heard that this is one of the best hotels in Laguna, so my advice would be don't come to Laguna unless you really have to and then maybe consider camping.

Nice but...
The facilities were fine for the price we paid - hotel room and pools - BUT they should review their night swimming policy. There was a group of foreigners who came in at around 5pm who started quietly but by 7pm, the loud noises started. After asking the front desk to tell them to tone down, they moved to the other end of the pool where my friends were staying and made noise there. At 5am, I was jolted out of my sleep with loud cheering of the group right below our room. This went on for a couple of times which made going back to sleep very hard. Either the hotel assign them to the pool area where the rooms are not directly in the proximity of the pools or they adhere to a strict noise pollution policy. You can't even check if there are prior group bookings because apparently, this group of almost 80 people, mostly young kids, were walk-ins!

In need of renovation
The rooms are pretty big for a family of 4. The TV has about 9 stations and the fridge we got was small. There is no WIFI in the rooms, the bed and pillows were hard in our room. The locals seem to know to bring all their own food and drinks. We did order some food and it was okay. The free breakfast had 3 choices American, Filipino, or continental. Coffee is instant and the juice was orange tang. Toiletries are bar soap and toilet paper in the shower. If you need extra towels for any reason they will charge you. I was not refreshed from my swim because the pool water was just too hot. Also, be careful using the slide in Oasis, the water is shallow and I hit the bottom at the end. The staff were pretty nice but we were always hunting them down if you needed anything. We were on the 2rd floor and could hear loud karaoke well after 3:30am. Do call ahead to find out if there is a wedding when you are there. We didn't know and it was a bear finding a place to park with the extra cars on property. So I recommend you bring a cooler with ice, pool towels, your own food, drinks, blankets, snacks. Their blankets are just bed sheets. Also, read your final bill carefully. We were a family of 4 and had free breakfast. When we checked out there was a charge for one breakfast on the final bill that should have been free. The last thing I want to bring up is when I walked to look at all the pools the place was full of trash. It's not the hotel's fault but it does reflect on your stay.

Oasis!!
One of the best in Laguna. It's still under renovation but rooms are extremely huge. The pools are great it's warm as i've expected. When we are inquiring they told us that there are 8 pools, but during our stay some pools are closed and doesn't have water. But we still enjoyed that big one. Make sure to bring ur shampoo and soaps. Because they don't provide one. But, there is a free breakfast during the stay. 👍🏻 Thumbs up for this one!!

Birthday Celebration
2nd visit for the year. Checked in last 12/21 with my wife, 5 kids and 4 in-laws to celebrate my birthday. Early check-in is not allowed though they have a lot of empty rooms. After a few follow-up they accommodated us 30 mins. prior 2pm. Room and food is ok. No wifi inside the room and you need to get out to the reception area to get a decent wifi signal. Swimming pool water is a little normal but after a few hours they replenished with warm water as expected since that is why we went there for the fresh warm swimming. Place needs to be maintained more. Cable channels are few and tv is old. No microwave in the room but they have ref inside the room and water dispenser outside a few meters away.
