Highlights You'll Love

Staying connected is made simple with the complimentary WiFi available at Studio Apartment at Taguig Manila. Whether you need to catch up on work emails, stream your favorite shows, or share your travel updates with family and friends back home, reliable internet access is a significant convenience. This free WiFi ensures you can plan your daily excursions or simply relax and stay connected without worrying about data charges.

For guests arriving by car, the availability of parking is a welcome amenity. While noted as limited, having a designated spot for your vehicle provides peace of mind. This is particularly beneficial in a busy urban area like Metro Manila, where finding safe and accessible parking can often be a challenge. It allows you to explore the city with the assurance that your car is securely parked.

The presence of an elevator within the Cypress Towers Condominium is another practical facility that enhances your stay. This is especially helpful if you have heavy luggage or prefer not to use the stairs, ensuring easy access to your apartment on any floor. It contributes to the overall comfort and convenience of moving around the building, making your arrival and departure smoother.

Room Comforts and Additional Services

While the apartment itself is your private space, the condominium complex offers certain conveniences. For those who smoke, a designated smoking area is provided. This thoughtful provision ensures that smokers have a place to enjoy their cigarettes without inconveniencing non-smoking residents or guests, maintaining a pleasant environment for everyone within the property.

The limited parking facility, as mentioned, is a practical consideration for guests who are driving. It means that while parking is available, it might be on a first-come, first-served basis or have specific restrictions. It’s advisable to inquire about the parking arrangements upon booking or arrival to ensure it meets your needs. This thoughtful inclusion caters to travelers who prefer the flexibility of having their own vehicle.

Free WiFi is a standard expectation for many travelers today, and its inclusion here means you can stay connected throughout your stay. This is invaluable for everything from researching local restaurants to navigating the city using online maps. It ensures that your apartment is not just a place to sleep, but a functional space where you can manage your affairs and stay entertained. If you're looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay, consider making your reservation to book hotel accommodations like this one.

Pet Policy at Studio Apartment at Taguig Manila

This means that guests will not be able to bring their pets, whether dogs, cats, or any other animals, into the apartment or the condominium premises. This policy is common in many residential buildings and hotels to ensure the comfort and safety of all guests, as well as to maintain the cleanliness and condition of the property.

Filipino travelers who are pet owners will need to make alternative arrangements for their pets during their stay. This could involve leaving them with family or friends, or utilizing professional pet boarding services available in Metro Manila. Understanding and adhering to this policy is crucial to avoid any issues upon arrival or during your stay. It ensures a smooth experience for both you and the accommodation provider.

Check-in and Check-out Information

When you arrive at Studio Apartment at Taguig Manila, you can expect the check-in process to begin from 14:00 onwards. This standard afternoon check-in time allows the housekeeping team ample opportunity to prepare your apartment thoroughly after the previous guest's departure. Upon arrival, you will likely need to present a valid identification document, such as a government-issued ID or passport, and possibly a booking confirmation.

If you happen to arrive earlier than 14:00, it’s a good idea to contact the property in advance to see if an early check-in is possible. While not always guaranteed, some accommodations may accommodate early arrivals if the apartment is ready. If not, you can usually store your luggage with the reception or security staff, allowing you to start exploring the nearby areas without being burdened by your bags.

The check-out time is set for before 11:00. This allows the hotel staff sufficient time to clean and prepare the apartment for the next guest arriving in the afternoon. If you require a later check-out, it’s best to inquire about this possibility the day before your departure. Late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur an additional fee, but it can be a great convenience if you have a flight scheduled for the evening or wish to enjoy a leisurely morning.

Your Travel Guide to Makati as a Filipino Traveler

How to Get to Makati from Manila and Major Philippine Cities

For many Filipinos, the most convenient way to reach Metro Manila, and subsequently Makati, is by air. Major airports across the Philippines, including those in Cebu, Davao, Palawan, and Boracay, offer frequent flights to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). Flight durations vary, with trips from Cebu taking around 1 hour and 15 minutes, while flights from Davao are approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. Booking your book flight in advance can often lead to significant savings, with fares potentially ranging from PHP 2,000 to PHP 6,000 or more, depending on the season and airline.

If you're traveling from nearby provinces or prefer a more grounded journey, bus travel is a viable and economical option. Numerous bus companies operate routes to Metro Manila's various terminals from key cities like Baguio, Pampanga, and even further south. Bus journeys can range from 4 to 10 hours or more, depending on your origin. Fares are considerably lower than flights, typically falling between PHP 500 to PHP 1,500. From the bus terminals, you can then take a taxi, ride-sharing service, or local public transport to reach Makati.

For those driving their own vehicles, Makati is accessible via major expressways and national roads. The South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) connect to Metro Manila's road network, leading you towards the city. Navigation apps are highly recommended to guide you through the urban traffic. While driving offers flexibility, be prepared for potential traffic congestion, especially during peak hours.

Best Time to Visit Makati

Makati, like much of Metro Manila, experiences a tropical climate with distinct wet and dry seasons. The dry season, generally from November to April, is considered the most pleasant time to visit. During these months, you can expect sunny days with lower humidity, making it ideal for exploring the city's attractions, shopping malls, and dining establishments. Temperatures typically range from 28°C to 34°C.

The wet season runs from May to October. While this period brings frequent rainfall, it doesn't necessarily mean constant downpours. Often, the rain comes in heavy but short bursts, usually in the afternoon, followed by clearing skies. Visiting during the wet season can offer a different perspective of the city and may come with fewer crowds and potentially lower accommodation prices. It’s advisable to carry an umbrella or raincoat if you plan your trip during these months.

For Filipino travelers looking to avoid the peak tourist season and potentially find better deals on flights and accommodation, the shoulder months of November and February can be excellent choices. These periods fall within the dry season but might offer a slightly less crowded experience than the absolute peak months of December and January, which are popular due to the holiday season. Ultimately, Makati is a year-round destination, with each season offering its own unique charm.

Food and Dining Near Makati — What Filipino Travelers Must Try

Makati is a culinary hub, offering a vast array of dining experiences that showcase the best of Filipino cuisine and international flavors. The distinct sourness, usually derived from tamarind, calamansi, or guava, is incredibly comforting and pairs perfectly with steamed rice. Many local carinderias and Filipino restaurants in Makati serve this hearty soup, offering a taste of home for many Filipinos and an authentic experience for visitors.

For those with a sweet tooth, Halo-Halo is an absolute delight. This popular Filipino dessert is a colorful concoction of shaved ice, milk, sweet beans, fruits, jellies, leche flan, and ube ice cream. It’s the perfect way to cool down on a warm day in Metro Manila. You can find numerous places offering Halo-Halo, from street vendors to dedicated dessert cafes, each with their own unique twist on this beloved treat.

Don't leave without sampling Lechon, a whole roasted pig known for its incredibly crispy skin and succulent meat. While often a centerpiece for celebrations, many restaurants in Makati offer Lechon portions, allowing you to savor this delicacy without needing to cater a whole party. The rich, savory flavor and satisfying crunch make it an iconic Filipino culinary experience that is well worth seeking out.

Very basic accommodations. Had a bed and bathroom. More like a hotel room with a kitchen cabinet. In my future trips I will opt for a little higher end property.

My stay on the first day was great, I was assisted by Meldan, the caretaker courteously. However as the room was little bit small, I booked the second day for bigger room good for 3 persons (of higher price), unfortunately they haven’t provided us new room. I texted the owner himself, but they are not responding as they are out of the country. Hope the owner themselves will be responsible enough to respond for the guest’s request.
