This should be the best accommodation along Panagsama Beach. It has its own sand beach right in front of the lodge, which I think is man made. The other hotels do not have sandy beach. The room is simple and clean. I enjoyed the American breakfast with a beautiful sea view. Highly recommended.

Once you arrive in Cebu, follow the same steps as mentioned above: head to the Cebu South Bus Terminal for a bus to Moalboal.

For those who prefer driving, the journey from Manila to Moalboal is a long one, spanning over 1,000 kilometers and taking approximately 18 to 24 hours of continuous driving, depending on traffic and stops. Best Time to Visit Moalboal

Moalboal experiences a tropical climate, with generally warm temperatures year-round. The dry season, typically from November to May, is considered the peak tourist season. During these months, you can expect less rainfall and more sunshine, making it ideal for outdoor activities like diving, snorkeling, and island hopping. The seas are generally calmer, offering excellent visibility for underwater exploration. However, this is also when Moalboal tends to be more crowded, and accommodation prices might be slightly higher.

If you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere and potentially better deals, consider visiting during the shoulder months of November or May.

The wet season runs from June to October. While this period sees more frequent rain showers, they are often short-lived and followed by sunshine. For travelers who don't mind the possibility of occasional rain and seek a more serene environment, the wet season can be a great time to explore Moalboal.

For most Filipino travelers aiming for the best balance of good weather and manageable crowds, the period from November to April offers the most favorable conditions. This allows you to enjoy the famous sardine run, which is often at its best during these months, and explore Pescador Island and other dive sites with clear skies and calm waters. The staff here is warm and welcoming. The property is incredible with fantastic snorkeling right out the back. The air conditioning was strong and the location was great. I would absolutely stay here again, it is a great value for the price!

For this one I have mixed feelings. 1. There is no free bottled water. You get 1 free bottled only when you arrive. And you need to ask for it. 2. Breakfast is very poor. I recommend eating somewhere else. 3. No air conditioner. Only fan. So its hot and noisy when you sleep. If you get a room facing sea side, its even noisier from the ocean waves. 4. Check your room for the small bugs that can bite your skin. Ask for staff to spray the room if you found some. 5. Upper small rooms have only shared WC with shower. That was not written when we were booking the room. 6. I cant complain about staff. They do what you ask. But in the same time it feels that they are tired of tourists already. 7. Only good thing is location. You will find everything from here, restaurants, Atm, diving centers. 15 meters in the ocean you will find a lot of sardines! 8. More about the staff. We came from Cebu city with taxi. The moment we arrived was very bussy and hecktic and my girlfriend left her phone in taxi. The car left and we tried to call the phone but taxi driver shut it off. He wanted to steal it! So the staff was very helpfull in this situation. They found a guy who went for a pursuit of this taxi and cut it off. The guy took the phone from taxi driver and returned to us, but we had to wait long time until he came back with the phone. We payed 200php to the guy. Anyway, we have the phone and are very gratefull for this... hope this review will be helpfull. :)

This should be the best accommodation along Panagsama Beach. It has its own sand beach right in front of the lodge, which I think is man made. The other hotels do not have sandy beach. The room is simple and clean. I enjoyed the American breakfast with a beautiful sea view. Highly recommended.

First time in this hotel and very pleased with it. Room was small but very clean with good bathroom. Staff we excellent, helping with parking, luggage, heating our baby's food, let me take my mountain bike inside....great breakfast included in the room rate, cold aircon and ceiling fan...lovely view out to sea from the veranda ( where you have breakfast ), saw a turtle less than 50 metres from the hotel when snorkeling, super location for walking out to lunch/dinner

Overall, an excellent place to stay. The only issue we had was that the room was very hot even with the fan on, but ours was the only window without any tree coverage so this is not surprising. Also, if you plan to go snorkelling make sure you get a wetsuit as there are small jellyfish that aren’t super painful, but do take away from the experience. Would definitely stay again, the lodge was great, staff were friendly and helpful, very clean and close to everything!

We were lucky enough to have an ocean-view room!! Simply mesmerizing! Location is great right on Corong-Corong beach where it is a bit more quiet and less chaotic than the city (literally 5 mins away). Service at the reception is very welcoming and great, at the resto/bar not so much. Breakfast is great and coffee/tea is always available 24/7. Room is clean :) Internet is barely available not only at the hotel itself but anywhere in El Nido... please make sure to do book or use the internet for everything thing you may need, before arriving in El Nido. Even though hotels and restos claim to have Wifi, it does not work! Even with a sim card, people had almost no signal! Only downside of El Nido and Palawan itself

Location = Very good. Nice beach directly behind hotel with Sardine ball a short swim out. Many eating choices within a stones throw away. Accomodation = Average. The room was very basic and small but the price probably fits the accommodation as you get what you pay for. The A/C was old and quite loud. But we didn't complain. Others might care, but we really did not. Service = Poor - There are two older Filipina ladies that I believe were the bosses/managers. ONe stayed behind the front desk, the other was in the lobby from time to time. They weer unaccommodating, borderline rude, never smile, never say hello, and respond with 1 word answers. Surprised they are in the industry as their personalities don't fit what is needed from a customer service perspective. The rest of the staff serving breakfast was VERY GOOD. They were nice and sweet.

It's an okay place to stay for a night or two if think it's okay only with a bed and fan. sharing shower and toilets with all other guests isn't exactly up my alley but it worked out just fine.
