Dear Valued Guests, We welcome you to SunCity Suites with the same warmth and hospitality we have always done. While we are being challenged by the COVID-19 situation, we would like to reassure you that your safety and security as well as our staff remain as our highest priority. We are strictly adhering to the advice of local government authorities, following stringent health and safety guidelines of preventive measures to ensure your every stay with us is safe, clean and comfortable. To ensure your safety and comfort, please be guided by the following guidelines in response to COVID-19 before your arrival at SunCity Suites. SUNCITY SUITES- UPDATED PROCEDURES AND POLICIES Registration/ Lobby Procedures and Administration 1. “No Face Mask, No Entry” policy is strictly implemented. 2. Foothbath will be placed upon entry for disinfection and sanitation purposes. 3. Infrared thermometers are available at the lobby to conduct temperature checks of our guests and employees. 4. Disinfect your hands at the provided hand sanitizing station before entering the hotel lobby. 5. We have removed the chairs at the front desk to prevent guests from staying in the area. 6. All of our front desk staff will wear disposable gloves and a mask and/or face shield. 7. All our frontdesk staff will visibly use hand sanitizer as soon as a new guest walks in to the front desk or check-in and check-out procedures. 8. Rooms are available for single and double occupancy only. Double occupancy is allowed for family members as mandated by the regulations set by Department of Tourism. 9. Only the registered guest is needed to check-in. The registered guest will be asked to present their ID and credit card to the front desk staff for proper verification. We are requesting that guests pay with credit or debit and/or thru online bank transfer in lieu of cash whenever possible. We will not be accepting cash for payment at the hotel. 10. The credit card will be sanitized using alcohol or sanitizer before and after the guest’s payment transaction along with the entire front desk area. 11. Guests shall fill-up the Health Declaration Form. 12. Guests might be required to present their Health Certificate upon entering General Santos City. 13. In regards to social distancing, the following provisions shall be implemented; - Guests will be required to maintain a distance of 1 meter (3 feet) from the front desk. - A “guest zone” will be marked at the front desk. Guest will be asked to approach this “guest zone” to fill up their registration, health declaration form and/or process payment transaction. - This specific area and its various equipment will be sanitized after every guest interaction. 13. We are performing daily sanitation every two (2) hours of all lobby, common or high-touch areas and office spaces. 14. Newspaper will be available upon request. 15. When a guest checks out of their room, they will have to call and inform the front desk. They will place their room key in a designated container at the front desk. These room keys will be properly sanitized prior to use by another guest. 16. All third (3rd) party deliveries will take place at the frontdesk. No staff shall sign or accept any transaction. Room Service Procedures Additional measures that will be taken include, but are not limited to the following; 1. We are promoting contactless service. Make- up room service will not be accommodated during the guest’s stay. 2. Guests are welcome to request additional towels, amenities, and hygiene products anytime during their stay by contacting our front desk using the telephone channels. We will be practising contactless procedures by placing the requested amenities in a table outside of the room. 3. To ensure guests’ safety, a member from our front desk staff will call each occupied guestroom daily to check on their wellbeing. 4. Guests will be asked to leave their room during housekeeping services to avoid contact with our employees. 5. We will wait a minimum of 48 hours after the guestroom has been occupied prior to renting it to the next guest. 6. Registered guests are welcome to have occasional visitors to their room; however, we will require that all visitors register at the front desk prior to arrival. 7. We will maintain strict access to hotel and close public access to our common areas. 8. All of our public and common areas are regularly sanitized by our misting machine. 9. It is advisable to wear your facemask when going out of your room. Food and Beverage Procedures 1. In order to minimize the risk of spreading COVID-19, SunCity Suites is temporarily changing its procedures regarding our food and beverages practices. 2. Temperature checks are conducted before entering Caffe Firenzo. 3. Table arrangement has been adjusted to 1.5 m distance from each other. 4. All food and beverage service staff is required to wash and sanitize their hands frequently. 5. Chefs are required to wear masks and/or face shields at all times when handling food items. 6. All tableware including menu and condiments container are cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis. 7. All silverware and glassware are well disinfected and sterilized. 8. Kitchen surfaces are properly cleaned and sanitized after use. 9. Dining tables and chairs are sanitized with disinfectant before serving to new guests. 10. Breakfast buffets at our hotel will be replaced with plated breakfast with the option of serving it at Caffe Firenzo or inside each guest room. 11.
