Accessible, comfy room and great food.

The room and service is great but the place is so noisy. There are construction going on until midnight to morning. It's almost like 24 hours. The food is not good.

The room was so nice! And the service is amazing! Will definitely come back again!

Construction ongoing, jackhammer noise unbearable. When I asked to be transferred, the person in charge suggested we just pay extra and upgrade. He even said I should have expected this since they announced that they were under renovation. Unbelievable! Only when I argued did they give me an upper room, a bit farther from the construction. The noise lessened but it still wasn't a pleasant stay overall.
5.6
The note said renovation but they had major construction until night. It's a weekend and I think it's best if they do it every weekdays as it really does disturb the guest. They even started early in the morning.

I didn't know the hotel was under renovation. The discount was probably beacause of the on going renovation. The renovation was supposedly up to 31 Aug only but the state of the premises during our stay looked still far from completion. It could have been a great stay without the construction because we got a room with a good view of Taal. But we weren't able to use the balcony area of our room because of the construction. Will still book though after the renovation is fully completed.

We had a nice hotel experience. We will be back after the renovation.

Breakfast are deliciously good, waiter are kind and approachable. The place are easy to find. With small indoor pool. Jacuzzi in our room, Kids enjoyed it. But super noisy and not able to rest until 11:50 in the evening because of construction going around the center of the hotel.
6.7
I understand that they have an undergoing maintenance or improvement construction, but my complain is our room where in we are assigned is not accessible for us specially for my 3 kids. we had to walk too far and walk up to the third floor and down again to the first floor just to go to our room. I mean my kids are too young to experienced that they are only 6, 3 and 2 years old so they are got easily tired to walk again and again. But the food is good and the service as well.

We’ve checked in for the Valentine’s Day with the kids. The check-in took us a little longer than the usual and when we went to our room, it’s not yet cleaned. So waited a little longer even if we arrived 3pm.

Good stay
We originally planned to stay for only a night but decided to extend for another night. Reservation was quite easy, perhaps because it was low season? Upon check in, we we're asked for a 2k deposit. We stayed at the Deluxe lake view room and it was good because we had a nice view of the lake. This room also has a bath tub unlike other rooms. I just noticed some minor things like when I was taking a bath in the tub, I saw how unpolishedly they made the lavatory. The cement finish underneath was uneven. Eyesores as such should at least be concealed. Some loose and lifting tiles were also observed in the room. Another thing I found to be a bit of a turn off was how inaccesible some areas are from the main building. We wanted to take a swim at their indoor pool but got really "shookt" *haha* when we found that we had the cross the parking lot just to get to the pool area. There was no pathway, no roof that leads to the pool. So on that rainy day, you have to shower in the rain abd dip your feet in the puddle before getting to the pool. I couldn't make sense why they chose glass walls for the indoor pool when there is no good view of the outside. It was a parking lot and the highway for crying out loud. We were quite relucant to swim because outsiders can see is through the glass walls! This is the downside of expanding a facility...so many afterthought designs that have not probably been considered well. There is an ongoing renovation so somehow, I hope some things mentioned would be addressed. Even though, the hotel facilities didn't impress me so much,I have to acknowledge the very friendly staff. Everyone was so attentive to our needs and always greeted us with a smile. Breakfast buffet was also excellent and had a wide range of choices. I really want to come back because of the food! Hopefully, when we come back and the renovation has been completed, we would see a great improvement in their amenities.

Beautiful scenery, a shame about the noise.
My family and I stayed in rooms 200-201 an en-suite one bedroom apartment with a sofa and dining area. The rooms were adequately clean and simply decorated with air-conditioning and TVs in both the bedroom and dining room, the balcony provided a beautiful panoramic view of the lake and mountains. The hotel staff were sufficiently friendly. My only complaint would be the ongoing noise of refurbishment (banging, drilling) throughout the evening until late at night and early hours of the morning. I called the reception, who did not offer an apology or a change in room as renovations were taking place throughout the hotel. I would advise to check if refurbishments were taking place beforehand prior to booking.

Nice view of Taal
The hotel has the magnificent view of Taal. Although it is smaller than the popular hotel in Tagaytay that has the same view, it is less crowded. Maybe book in advance to get lesser price. Nice place to stay with family and for foreign visitors who want to experience the awesome ambiance of Tagaytay. Very near to known boutique restaurants.
