They didn't even informed me that local calls has charges I should have use my landline instead per call is 25php and I made 6 local call so thats 150php. Their prestige card is so disappointing that you have to bring it even in the pool bar just to avail the discount. Come to think of it you were checked into the hotel and your going to swim, re you going to bring your wallet with you in the pool and pay for ur charges right away for the food you have ordered at the pool bat? Mostly we will charge it via room. Unfortunately if you charge those in ur room you can never avail of the discount, so whats the use of buying prestige card worth 10k? Very disappointing
Everything is still 5 star. Check in process is a breeze even if it was a weekend and a lot of people are checking in. Hotel staff has superb customer service. Hotel is well maintained for a 100 year old hotel. High expectation in the breakfast buffet and it never disappoint. Enjoyed our staycation.
Had a great staycation experience
its a nice place to stay with the family.
Attended an event in the Hotel on the 19th so it was really convenient for us to stay in the hotel. Service was superb! Kids enjoyed the pool and had a good night sleep.
It was a great place with my family.

Everything is complete. excellent service! (emphasis on service) everything's great! definitely will be back.
eversince its very relaxing to stay in manila hotel
Our staycation was lovely. However, the queue was so long during check in. Breakfast buffet was so gastronomic. Service is great because they tried to give us Our preferred room even they have a large number of guests during our stay.

Historical Manila
A perfect location to see the older side of Manila including Rizal Park and Intramoros. The hotel is magnificent with decor reminiscent of pre war beauty. McArthur adopted the place as his residence. An excellent experience.

Staycation, with a baby
Beautiful hotel, love the old vibe. Spacious rooms, very clean. Lots of breakfast options even for my baby. Friendly staff. 5-star amenities. Couldn't resist to take home the stationaries with insignia.

Such a shame
This hotel is beautiful and the buffet breakfast was amazing. However don't book through a third party because any problems that occur you have to pay extra for. They didn't offer us anything for a problem that occured through their system and the third party. Absolutely ridiculous that we had to pay to make an international phone call as well to find that it was their fault. Also wasting two hours for the problem to be sorted out while standing and not being offered anything to drink.

Still Beautiful And Worth Staying At After Many Years
Our parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last June and my sisters paid for few days accommodation here as the church where my parents chose to have their wedding vows renewed is far from where we now live. I'd say the service is still remarkable (though it took a while I think more than 30 minutes for our other luggage from the wedding to be brought upstairs), the hotel is old but doesn't smell it and rooms looked classic but well-maintained (I've been to newer hotels and the smell of AC was not clean). One of the floors was also undergoing renovation that time but repairs didn't seem to disturb the occupants and we rested well. Buffet breakfast is mix of different cuisines which can cater to different people. I didn't check the pool area but rather explored the beautiful lobby and enjoyed good music. Price is also quite affordable, not as expensive as we thought given its popularity.
