It is great! will stay in this hotel again
The room was great only that their breakfast wasn't satisfactory and need to be improved. Overall I had a great stay. Hope to comeback soon!
I love everything except: the female bartenders in tagay bar. The elevator is not accessible during our stay and it's quite a hassle.
Nice place to rest, chill, relax, good....
Our stay at Uptown Condotel was awesome. The receptionist was ready to assist us even helping us to print our departing boarding pass. The breakfast was great. It was our first time in Cagayan, the server at their resto was very accommodating to tell the location of the different tourist spots in our itinerary, what jeep to ride, etc. The place look like a condominium complete with kitchen and utensils , living room, bathtub, small dining table, you can cook your food. A place like home. It is very clean , good service, The location is accessible to public transportation, malls. Thank you Uptown. We will come back and stay at this place again.
Great and clean place to stay, the staff were friendly, helpful and we were given an extra minutes. Hope to be back soon.

"Exlusivity, Hah! Luxury, Hah!, Prestige... LOL
1: no toilet seats 2: ants in the room 3:moldy bathtub. For a hotel claiming to be 4½ stars, and having "Exclusivity, Luxury and Prestige" as their motto, they are full of themselves, the staff are nicely dressed, the lobby looks nice, the rooms look nice, until you actually check behind the facade. Then it becomes clear it is pretty much a place that promises a lot, and dissapoints just as much. I know I am from a rich western country, I am used to much more than what people in the Philippines are, but I am also used to hotels who claim to give you "exclusive luxury" they actually get torn down and closed if they fail to do so... Check my pictures, you will understand I am not telling lies or exxagerating, but this place is a 2-2,5 star hotel by European standarts (2,5-3 in Philippine standarts) it is overpriced to a degree that it costs twice of other hotels in CDO, but delivers the same in matters of cleanliness and maintenance. the first day we had no toilet seat, we asked if they had seats for the toilet, and after 30 min, 2 guys came to mount the seat, yes 2 guys, who both expected a tip for allowing you to poop under normal comfort. their dirty shoes messed up the towel for our feet, so we asked for housekeeping, sure if we wanted to pay 250 pesos for housekeeping, yeah this luxury hotel did not have housekeeping included in their 38$ per night fee... that was on top... they had a choice of 6 breakfast items, one called "american" yet for the 8 days I was there, there was no american Breakfast, so I had - garlic rice with fried SPAM.. yes Ham scraps in a Can... What a luxury breakfast...!!! Yuck... if only they did not promise "luxury" "exclusivity" and "prestige" and maybe charged 20$ per night instead of 38$ per night, then I would not have been so negative, but dammit, mold and ants, and a toilet without seat is so far from any of those 3 words meaning as can be... even for the Philippines!!

Large room space but limited breakfast options
Pros: Spacious room with cooking facility. High ceiling and comfortable bed. Friendly reception staff and always wearing a smile. Cons: Room is very warm during the day and took many hours to cool down. The shower head needs replacement and warm water shower temp is always inconsistent. Room booked with breakfast, which are limited to 6 options (5 of 6 items are just standard white rice, fried egg and a meat choice) with coffee being the only beverage served (sorry, no tea). On weekdays, some items out of the 6 options are unavailable as well :( The only lift was closed for maintenance for the 6 days I stayed there. Fortunately my room was on the 2nd floor but we still struggled with the big luggage when we get down the stairs during checkout.

Large condotel rooms for the price of a hotel
I checked the prices of different hotels in the area and was glad that I booked here, very near where my business visit was (i.e. near Xavier school). It's a bit off the city proper and there was some traffic going to the town proper and mall. The room was spacious with a high ceiling, kitchen, living area and balcony. The bed was on a loft at the second floor. I just stayed overnight but would definitely recommend it for people staying in CDO longer. The restaurant and coffee shop were nothing to write home about. The taxis won't use their meter and the cost to and from the airport would be 700 (some would charge 1000 so just say that you know it's 700). It's about 1 hour away from the airport. All-in-all, value for money.

One of the Best
I stayed last Nov.14, 2015 when attending a wedding at Xavier Estates. I could say that this is one of the best in town, I experienced a warm welcome and helping hands from the staff. The hotel room is well cleaned and furniture are maintained. Since it's a condo type room; kitchen amenities were there, which is very helpful for making my own meal and coffee. For sure I'll be back with family, coz the rooms are quite big. The price is absolutely right for the experience!

Great pick for a single traveler
Arrived at the hotel at 7 in the morning so had to pay for the early check-in, as I needed to go straight to work. Standard rooms are large, with a sleeping area on the upper "floor". Great, if somebody comes for a quick meeting. Plenty of storage space. A 24h snack bar in the lobby, great for people with jet lag. Excellent large double bed, with the best mattress that I have ever had in any hotel I visited ever. Just blew my mind, and helped greatly with the jet lag. In the same building there is a alcohol serving bar, and a really affordable spa, where you can get a room service massage. Across from the street 4-5 nice local restaurants available for lunch and dinner.
