A new hotel, friendly staff, I will come back

Well cleaned room and other facilities. Good service in their restaurant.

The place was nice but it can be better.

The hotel was clean and the staff was accommodating. However they should make their cable TV better and available. Most guests definition of relaxation includes watching their favorite shows on tv, but the hotel seemed to be lacking on that part.

New but need to upkeep hotel standard!
Booked 3 different rooms for a family stay ranging from 2-5 nights, and I would say this new hotel is just fine, though could be better than what we’ve paid for. But yes, can be improved. Staff are all friendly and will greet you every time they see you, apart from one guy who was on night duty. He wouldn’t even care who’s passing by the reception because he was busy looking at his phone. Security guards were very, very pleasant looking and friendly, too. The rooms were spacious, clean, and all accommodation necessities are there. Wifi is strong. Toilet paper too thin. It’s not that expensive, so please provide your guests a better one. We got rooms that are next to the main road, so we can hear noises from all sorts of vehicle passing by. Ask for a room away from the road if you can. When I called for help because there was no AC remote control provided to one of our rooms (this is weird for a hotel), the guy who came to our room told us to just borrow from our other rooms. Like seriously? Are you kidding me? So what if in the middle of the night I wanted to switch off or adjust the temperature, then I will have to wake the people up at the other room because I need the remote? Ridiculous! I told him with a pissed-off “NO! Give me a remote control!”. So off he went to find one. Whoever he is, he needs some common sense. Breakfast was fine but has poor choices and is catered to local taste. Staff need training, too. Even the basics like making sure the guests are given water; and cutlery, napkins and glasses on the table are complete, were sometimes taken for granted. You still have to ask those things from them. So, all in all...this hotel can be improved.

Top pick for a comfortable, personalized and economical stay in Diliman, Quezon City
I stayed at Verjandel Hotel intermittently for 2 months while attending classes at a university in Quezon City. I truly appreciate how they made me feel at home away from home the entire time! The hotel staff and management were very friendly, attentive and responsive to any assistance or requests I needed. As a guest who had to stay intermittently at the hotel, I particularly appreciate that the hotel would always try and give me the exact same room each week I would come back. Staying in a familiar room made me feel more at ease and didn’t have any trouble getting a good night sleep after a long day. Aside from the modest accommodation and good food at Olivia’s café, the personalized service and warm hospitality I experienced as a guest surely made my entire stay very pleasant. Tip: Try the Garlic Ginger Salmon and Roast Beef dishes at Olivia’s café. So good!

Verjandel - very good!
The hotel was a short distance from where my business meeting was held and accessible through public transport. The room was clean and complete with basic necessities. The hotel staff were courteous and accommodating. Praises to the chef who cooked a perfect beef tapa for breakfast during my stay :)

Very very helpful staff, I must say that
I stayed with my mom in this hotel for 2 nights and had an early check out at 3AM because of her flight. The night before, I already gave heads up to the reception if we could seek assistance to the 2 boxes my mom brought from her trip abroad weighing 47kg. Though they have limited staff at that time, they were able to ensure that we will be able to smoothly check out and even prepared light breakfast for us before we left.

Amazing Service
The Verjandel Hotel was very pleasant. The staff was very helpful and the service was great. The rooms are very clean and they try to accommodate you in every possible way. My husband was working remotely on our vacation. He needed to have excellent wifi. The wifi was not so great on the second floor so they transferred us to the 6th floor, it was not the fastest but it was adequate to get the job done. The Karaoke bar was fun also. Our teenage daughter was allowed to stay with us and sing also. The food at the restaurant was great. We enjoyed eating Filipino food, but the salmon was the best, it was cooked to perfection. Thank you Verjandel we will be back.
