Average Place to Stay
The place is just a walking distance from the center of commerce and not far from the airport. It's quiet and secured. Staff were friendly and prompt. The room is not bad. Though there's a generator on stand by, the intermittent electricity interruption at night is annoying.

Good location . Near church and a jollibee food truck. Staff alright. Rooms spacious. We had the double room and the water was always freezing and there was no hot shower. I used the kettle to heat up some water and used the pail to bathe. The room partition was made of light material and allowed conversations and tv noise to penetrate . Breakfast was alright . Coffee was refillable . The swimming pool was clean but had no lights and a lifeguard at night ! Hazard for kids and even inebriated adults. Over-all it wasn't bad but it could still be better.

Not the paraiso/paradise it's touted to be
I am perplexed at the good reviews of this place. I knew prior to arriving that we were going to a basic, no-frills hotel and I have no problem with that. However, the room 306 assigned to us left a LOT to be desired. The furniture (bed, side tables, etc.) was old and creaky. The aircon slot was too big for the aircon itself and they covered the hole with a plywood. The electrical outlet was surrounded by masking tape. The toilet seat cover was missing and the toilet was dirty. When we asked the front desk about the toilet, the person in charge responded by saying she couldn't do anything about it because she was still new to the company. There was no running hot water. When we asked for hot water, we were provided a kettle to boil water. Bathroom sink leaked water when we turned on the faucet. A telephone wire was dangling from the ceiling. There were mosquitoes in our room and our baby had quite a few bites. My husband found a cockroach crawling on his shorts. There were lizard poop droppings on the table and chairs at the resto bar. The wi-fi signal could not reach our room so we had to walk to the lobby to connect and even if they provided 2 connections (apartelle and VILLA ADMIN), only the apartelle one was working and it was intermittent at best, with the connection dropping every now and then during the 30 minutes that I hung out at the lobby to check my emails. My brothers and their families stayed in rooms 302 and 307. They commented that their rooms were in a better state than ours but not by much. We have stayed in many budget hotels in the past but this experience was definitely the worst of all. Please refer to the uploaded pictures so you will know what I mean. Such a huge disappointment considering that this resort has many positive reviews here on Trip Advisor, which is why I considered booking it in the first place.

Good for Family Bonding
We've Been in the Villa Paraiso this Dec 10-11, 2016. Our Room was Family Suite with Breakfast and we are very happy with our room because it was really spacious for us..We are about 7 adults and 3 Children and it was great staying here.. They have a Swimming pool with a depth of 3ft to 6ft it was nice... The place was nice and the crew or the staffs are really helpful, they accommodate us with every we need. They even let us borrow their laptop cause we need to do something important...Thank you Villa Paraiso for taking care of our needs. Tips and Tricks that I can give you but not guaranteed okay for you. 1. Bring your own food everywhere you go. so that you can save up money 2. It is really convenient that you have your car or have a ride. so that you can travel easily anywhere and can enjoy your travel and stay there. 3. Bring more cash it is easy to have a cash in hand. But they also have ATM there but it is not that convenient. 4. Ask your hotel if they have a map of the Island of Camiguin because our hotel provided us of a map and it's really easy to find places. 5. Cellphone networks in Camiguin is fine but have parts that doesn't have network signals.. 6. All in All I recommend this for Families and everyone. All my Comment/Review here are on my own.. Thanks to Villa Paraiso and TripAdvisor

Place is good but choose your room location
The place is okay, we stayed overnight at Room 302. Since the walls are made of lightweight material, we can hear the conversations of those from other rooms. Unfortunately, the sound of their TV sets are quite loud (maybe because they can hardly hear the sound, too), we have to increase the volume of our TV set. The lock of the comfort room is broken, and the lock of the main door is missing, we just have to rely on the door knob for our security. There is no electric kettle but when we requested for one, they immediately provided us. Our room is a few meters away from the lobby. Since the phone has no dialtone (we reported it to them but they cannot fix it), we have to walk to the lobby for our requests. There is no hot water in the room where we stayed :(. Although the room appears clean, there were small ants on our beds. Our accommodation came with free plated breakfast. The food is okay, especially the coffee. They have a swimming pool but we were not able to use it.
