Sunset is amazing
We stumbled across this place by mistake whilst exploring Panglao by motorbike, and were so happy we did! We just wanted to have a drink and were warmly welcomed by the lovely guy that works there; he even got a table to put right on the beach for us where we watched the local kids playing their resourceful game of 'rounders' with just a flipflop. We were the only people there, it was so peaceful. There's a 300m pier that you pay 20peso each to walk along into the mangroves and from the end we stood and watched the most glorious sunset before heading back into the main part of the island. If you've got a free evening and a bike, this place is a real hidden gem!

Enjoyable Stay
We booked to stay here and when we went to catch the ferry to Bohol it was cancelled due to a Typhoon. We arrived at the hotel 2 days later and they honoured our booking. The hotel was lovely with big, clean rooms and very helpful and friendly staff. We ate at the hotel on both nights and the local food was lovely. We also hired a scooter through the hotel which was very reasonably priced. Would recommend staying here.

Very nice place, good value
I stayed at Isola Bella during March and April this year. It's in a quiet corner of Panglao, some distance from Alona Beach. The walled grounds are attractive, with a decent swimming pool, and at the back there's a pretty little sandy beach set among mangroves. The staff were all very pleasant, as were the owners who live on site. I had a problem which was unrelated to the resort, yet still the owners were very helpful and as a result it got sorted quickly. There is a security guard on site 24/7. As I was staying alone, I opted for one of the smaller rooms, which was easily big enough - clean and well fitted out with A/C, WIFI, fridge, a decent TV, and (most important for me) a comfortable bed. The attached bathroom was fitted to a similar standard, and had hot/cold showers. Immediately outside the room was a small verandah with chairs and a table. For transport I decided to rent a motorbike, which are available at Isola at reasonable rates. Alternatively you can get around by taking a tricycle or motorbike taxi, which the staff can arrange at short notice, or you can flag one down from the road (1 minute walk). I enjoyed my stay at Isola Bella and definitely recommend it.

Great place to stay and affordable!
My husband, daughter and myself had a pleasant stay in Isola Bella Resort. The staff are very accommodating and nice. We had an excellent country tour, great beach trip, they have the prettiest white sand beaches Panglao has to offer, dolphin watching and etc. This place is newly build, the rooms are nice and clean, located in a very quit area, so you can definitely get some good night rest. Over all we enjoyed our stay in Isola and will recommend it to any of our friends. Irene, WA. state, USA

Quiet, Peaceful, Great Price
My wife, her family, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Isola Bella Resort. The rooms are very clean; the owner and assistants bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable. The resort is fairly new and in a nice, quiet area. We went to the main Alona area and we couldn't wait to get back – noisy, dirty, crowded and the prices are inflated. Isola Bella is quiet and peaceful – the way we like it. The rooms are reasonable priced. Hot showers and some rooms will have a kitchen. The beach is nestled among mangrove trees and has no waves per say. The slope of the beach is very low – one could walk out almost 1/2 mile and you'd barely be to your waist. During low tide, it may not be the best for swimming, because of the mangrove cove, and low tide, it's a great place for little pinching crabs, jellyfish (non-stinging) and a lot of other creatures that would keep a marine biologist/child captivated for hours. During high tide, there is a nice swimming area along with white coral sand, which the Isola Bella people keep clean. Another benefit is the resort will give you a free trip to the 'Virgin Island' (a small island about a mile away). Just bring some food, some money (to buy drinks (sipping the juice of a coconut from the nut is tasty), souvenirs and some tasty sea urchins…(according to my wife and her family)). You won't go wrong if you stay at this resort.
