We had a really bad experience! The cheap price is not worth it! 1. My girlfriend and I arrived near midnight. Since we didn't know where the "resort" is, we had to hire a trike that charged us 40 for a 20 Php ride that is actually walking distance from where we alighted! 2. Things were really suspect from the start, cheap price (533) for an air-con room, dark alley going into the resort, dilapidated facade and seemingly untrained receptionist (she had to ask a co-staff if a room was really booked) 3. The reception had rates posted on the wall like a motel (3 hrs, 6 hrs...etc). 4. What's more, they gave us rubbish (almost torn) towels and blanket at the reception. Confirmed! More a motel than resort! 5. Here's the really bad part. The room: violet and yellow painted walls is such an eyesore and is fading! Mattress and bedding used are poor quality ones seen at the local market (so thin that you can actually see the mattress' design under it). I think it might not have been even replaced. The bed also had a chocolate under the pillow that must have been left by the previous guest (room service didn't even notice!) 6. Room also seemed unkept and have a weird smell 7. The last straw. Just when the attendant asked if we needed anything and closed the door, we saw a really bad thing painted at the back of it! I just cannot stand that (specially for my girlfriend)! 8. Fuming, I asked the attendant to transfer us to another room. Guess what? they offered another other room had a clogged toilet and non-working TV At the end, we just couldn't bear sleeping in a room that, while cheap, drained all self-respect out from you. We walked out the room not even checking out and just opted to stay at Mcdonald's until the morning.
