White Sand Bungalows

White Sand Bungalows is a tropical paradise on the white-sanded edge of Sunset Cove, Malapascua Island. Classic beachfront bungalows, a sprawling private beach, sparkling blue water, an on-site restaurant, free WiFi access, and airport transfers are just some of the features of this charming resort.

All six bungalows in the resort are designed with traditional materials: real hardwood flooring, double layers of bamboo and wood on the walls, and special nipa palm leaves on the roof for protection against solar heat. They all have 40 square meters worth of floor space and 12 square meters of attic space (for an extra bedroom), as well as a clear view of the beach. An electric fan complements the natural cooling properties of the bungalows’ architecture, while private tiled bathrooms with flushing toilets and shower niches are added for convenience. The bungalows come with a terrace, outdoor dining and seating area, 220 voltage sockets, free WiFi access, an in-room safe, and two double beds.

Guests can enjoy local dishes made with fresh produce and seafood on their private terraces or in the resort’s al fresco restaurant. The resort also offers laundry and dry cleaning services, daily housekeeping, and a tour desk with various boat rental, scuba diving, and island tour packages. Visitors can lounge on the warm sand of the private beach, take a nap on one of the hammocks that can be found around the property, and watch a stunning sunset from any spot in the resort. Those that would like to explore the rest of the island can visit Bounty Beach, just 557 meters away, or Guimbitayan Beach, which is 1.81 kilometers away. The island’s lighthouse is 1.46 kilometers away.
