The Wild Orchid is a glimpse into the heyday of Angeles City. Well maintained, location is ideal relative to Red Street (former walking street). It is well maintained and staff is friendly, efficient and competent. A great place to stay and enjoy the many amenities.

Overall the hotel needs a makeover. The original room I was given was in the old tower. It had no deadbolt on the door, an ancient key system to turn on room power, dim lighting, and gurgling air conditioner. No elevator. Hallway carpet was dirty and mushy. I was moved to a newer room in the new tower for the second night. This room was nicer, and had a view of the pool. The hotel restaurant serves good food, with large portions at reasonable prices. Hotel location is near Walking Street. Free parking is nice, but usually full. Overall I would stay elsewhere next time.

Stayed at many hotels in Angeles, they are just hotels, Wild Orchid is an older place, but a proper resort, and it’s much nicer to stay somewhere with all the resort amenities and atmosphere.
