General Check-in Instructions
TERMS AND CONDITIONS: 1. Identification The hostel is only authorised to accommodate properly registered guests. People who will check-in to the room needs to bring a valid photo identification card with you. For foreigners’ passport will be needed; for locals’ passport or valid government issued ID card e.g. Driver’s License, SSS, TIN or Postal ID. You’ll need to present this upon check in, so please don’t forget it! Visitors are only allowed in the lobby, cafe, and roofdeck bar. Violators will be charged. The lobby is available for receiving visitors. 2. Age Restrictions Minors under 18 years, male or female, are not allowed to stay at the hostel without being accompanied by parents or guardians and/or must book a whole dorm or private room. 3. Arrivals and Departures Check-in is from 2:00pm. If you arrive before then we have a space in the lobby where you can dump your bag and go explore! Or really need the bed to sleep? We allow early check-in with no promises starting 6am with a half-day charge. So let us know ahead of time for us to check the availability. Check-out is by 11am so please make sure you (and your belongings) are out of the room by then. Guests checking out between 11:00AM - 1:00PM shall be charged PHP 100. Half-day rate will be charged from 11:00AM - 4:00PM and is subject to availability. If you decide to check out beyond 4:00PM, a whole day rate will be charged. So make sure your alarm is set! 4. Room/Bed allocation PLEASE do NOT change beds or use different locker without informing the front desk. If you’re travelling with friends or family, we’ll do our utmost to book you in a room together but this can’t always be guaranteed. If you want to make sure that you aren’t separated from your group, we’d suggest booking a private room or taking over a whole dorm. **Please note that all our dorms are mixed unless you are a girl and booked an all-female dorm. 5. Payment/ Charges Room charge must be paid upon check-in. If guests wish to extend, payment is upon extension. If guest decided to cut-short/cancel the stay, the payment made is not refundable but can be use in other dates depending on availability. A security deposit of Php 500 in cash or guest passport/s for each person will be collected upon check-in, in case of loss and or damages in the room/bed you will be using. It can be refunded/returned upon check-out, excluding other charges. E.g. stained linens has corresponding charges. 6. Check-in Kit (Keycard, RFID, Towel) Upon check-in we’ll be lending you key-card which gives you access to your room, RFID bracelet to buy food and drinks at the cafe and bar, and towel for you to shower. If you lose your key card, it’s Php 200, Php 70 for RFID and Php 400 for lost and stained towel for replacement, so please keep it safe and return at the front desk upon check-out! Z Hostel is not liable for the loss or damages of any of these. 7. Cancellation Policy for Advance Reservation If cancellation made at least seventy-two (72) hours / 3 days before the arrival date, your deposit is protected so you can use it to make another booking within the next 6 months, if not used within the period it’s not refundable. Any service fees will be non-refundable as well. Bookings made online travel agent or third party channel must be cancelled via the respective channel and is subject to approval. If you arrive a day late without informing the hostel, booking will be considered no-show. Late cancellations and no shows: total amount of room charge will be charged. 8. Luggage Storage We reserve the right to store your luggage for only 2 weeks for free, if you wish to extend there will be a charge of PHP 500 per week. Due to limited space whenever there's no given notice, we, Z Hostel have the rights to dispose your luggage. 9. Management rights -The management reserves for itself the absolute right of admission to any person in the hostel premises and to request any guest to vacate his or her room at any moment without any previous notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever. The guest shall be bound to vacate when requested to do so. In default, the management will be entitled to remove the luggage and belongings of the visitor from the room occupied by him or her - with a two to three-member committee in attendance - and lock the room or sell the bed to another guest. -Z Hostel does not assume liability for the loss, theft or damage of your luggage’s and belongings while in the premises. Any type of loss or damage to items in the room or any public space will result in a charge that will be at the discretion of the Management. -Strictly NO SMOKING, VAPING inside the hostel premises with the exemption of the roof deck bar; as stated in Republic Act No. 9211, once you violate this provision the hostel is liable to charge you the equivalent amount of the whole room. COOKING, WASHING OF CLOTHES in the hostel premises and bringing of FOOD and DRINKS inside the rooms are PROHIBITED except water. -Guests are obliged to observe the provisions of these House Rules. In the event that a guest is in breach of these rules, the hotel has the right to repudiate the agreement on the provision of accommodation services before the agreed period has elapsed.
