Loft Aparts

Lovely old factory. Need to ask about how shower works so there should be a note in the room with instruction. Loft low so best for kids.

The property is a loft apartment in the redeveloped factory. Regretfully, there was a major safety issue as an interior stair to the loft was extremely narrow and had no rail whatsoever. Hard to believe! It was very dangerous to use, especially at night. As a result, we were forced to sleep on a couch, which was rather dirty and did not have any bedding (we were forced to use a bedding from the loft, which did not fit propertly.

Great location and if your into architecture this is an interesting building conversion. Very handy to have a cafe onsite with the reception of the loft apartments. Very helpful reception staff as I arrived in the early hours and they arranged for the keys and send a left item back to the UK. Cannot complain with the apartment as this was huge and perfect for the requirements I had.

Lovely spacious apartment which was a welcome change from many others that cramped us in. Modern decor & bathroom with in-bath shower and washing machine. Kitchen lacked utensils e.g. a spatula so we wouldn’t scratch the non-stick frying pan when making eggs for breakfast. But that is a small thing compared to the comfort, heritage, location. Small grocery store, bus 55 and taxi stand just outside main gate; short stroll to trams. Uber found it easy to pickup & drop off here. Several restaurants either in-complex - Loft Cafe serves good breakfast, drinks & small meals; Czesky Film downstairs or Księży Młyn Brewery & Restaurant across the road and Maison inside the Księży Młyn heritage workers housing complex. Herbst Palace is next door and Biala Fabryka is just down the road. There is a nice playground for kids out the back of the apartments just past the lake. The only spoiler was that they refused to store our luggage on check out. This is a major inconvenience for long haul /long stay visitors who have bigger suitcases especially in winter. I suppose they have no room since the reception desk moved from the office in the gate to the café. This was our second stay here but the lack of luggage storage may decide whether we stay again.

The property is beautiful and very comfortable. However, the check-in end time is misleading. It stated on our reservation confirmation that the check-in end time was 9 PM where in fact it ended at 3 PM. I would suggest updating this information. Luckily, we knew Polish and were able to track someone down to get us the keys to the apartment. Otherwise, we would be out of luck and looking for new place to stay. If it wasn't for the check-in experience, the stay would have been flawless.

So lets start with the good...the building looks fantastic, it's reasonably priced and the service was great. While I did not partake in the breakfast it looked like a good continental fayre... ...Now unfortunately the bad...The room was booked for 2 adults...however the double bed came with only a single duvet...and there was only one bath towel for a 4 night stay. Also hotels.com says there is Free Wi-Fi...but there was no wi-fi available in the apartment I was allocated

Mezzanine is a bit low for tall people, but the fit out was great. Parking was convenient and secure. Two great restaurants downstairs - one in the complex, one just outside. Small grocery store at front gate. We enjoyed our stay in this heritage factory building.

These apartments are great. Free WIFI, amazing decor and really comfortable. The only negative is that not enough of them are filled.

Kitchen, washing machine, large bathroom, bedroom and loft, huge windows, thick walls (quiet and cool), free parking and centrally located. Great place!!!!

Really beautiful rooms, a lot of space, clean! One of the best places I've visited, better than a causal hotel.

This is one of my best choices ever. I will do it again and again. always ....

Excellent séjour. Loft très grand, apt 55 m2 avec 4m de plafond et d’un très haut standing. Fortement recommandé.

Loft Aparts oli todella erikoinen ja mielenkiintoinen paikka majoittua. Vanhan kutomotehtaan historiasta olisi mielellään lukenut enemmänkin! Koko vanhan kutomon alue on vierailun arvoinen. Meidän porukalla oli kolme erillistä huoneistoa Loft Apartsissa ja kaikki olivat hienoja ja persoonallisia. Perheen kanssa matkustaessa oma keittiö on todella kätevä. Yhtenä aamuna kävimme myös Loft Cafeessa aamupalalla ja se oli oikein maittava ja persoonallinen. Leikki-ikäisille huoneistoissa oli ehkä pieniä turvallisuusriskejä (rappuset parvelle ilman sivukaidetta ja parvella aitana vain ohuet teräsvaijerit.

Mycket bra service, fantastisk frukost! Lite för ljust i rummet på småtimmarna, stora fönster och avsaknad av bra mörkläggningsmöjligheter gjorde att det var något svårt att sova... Annars mycket bra!

Prinzipiell sehr schöne Unterkunft. Allerdings mit ein paar Haken: Bei der Ankunft an besagter Adresse findet sich kein Hinweis, wo sich die Rezeption befindet oder wo man sich melden kann (sehr große Wohnanlage), lässt sich erst nach einem Anruf regeln. Dass ein Parkplatz extra gebucht werden muss war für uns bei der Buchung über ebookers nicht ersichtlich. Ebenso finden sich widersprüchliche Hinweise, ob Haustiere erlaubt sind oder nicht. (Trivago: ja, ebookers: nein; Homepage der Unterkunft: keine Aussage!). Eine Anfrage diesbezüglich bei der Buchung sowie über die Homepage der Unterkunft blieben unbeantwortet und seien nie angekommen. Erlaubt ist es nicht, aber als wir samt Hund vor der Tür standen, durften wir gegen Hinterlegung einer Kaution dennoch bleiben. Die nette Dame an der Rezeption war insgesamt sehr entgegenkommend. Bereits im Rahmen der Abreise wurde dann die Wohnung auf Schäden geprüft und unsere Kaution zurückgebucht. Insgesamt also Happy End mit kleinen Haken im Vorfeld!!
