The Castle is a super example of a preserved / renovated Historical (pre-WWII) German Nobility Home. The Staff are friendly and helpful, with excellent English Language. Overall the Service and Environment is top class.

Very nice venue with heaps of historical cachet, richness and boiseries. The staff, at the restaurant and reception were very helpful. Despite a busy evening, we were able to get a table for diner in a nice setting. Have to say that our first room was too noisy being close to the elevator and transit hallway (Newest soundproofed doors would solve the problem?) Staff at the reception moved us on the 2nd floor for the second night which was much quiet. Thanks! Bring a sweater if you eat at the restaurant (not a lot of heat). Recommend for a getaway weekend.

Beautiful castle and location, however the room/apt was very disappointing. Poor design - the decor is super lacking. Couch very uncomfortable. Stairs slippery. Hallway looking dark and dingy. Pool was small and water was too cold. The breakfast was lovely, the room it was in was beautiful. The area around the hotel is beautiful, walkable, quiet and safe. Overall it was a disappointing experience and I wouldn’t stay there again.

Room itself was good and food(breakfast buffet) was also good but the following things were not good. - Wifi didn't work. Network speed was really poor. - 40PLN was additionally charged for parking when I checked out. I asked the staff that parking should be already included in the hotel fee when I reserverd via expedia but she said I parked in a paid parking space and free parking was in a different place. I couldn't find the sign which showed free or not. I don't understand why a staff didn't tell me when I checked in. I felt cheated.

The site of the castle was nice. However, I DO NOT recommend staying here. Not worth it. The rooms and furniture are decades old. Rooms were not cleaned, dusty, smelled bad. Breakfast was very tasty and generous portions which were delivered to the rooms due to COVID pandemic restrictions. The biggest criticism was NONE of the hotel staff wore their masks properly or even at all! Hardly any of the guests or visitors to the site and hotel wore their masks. Security of hotel and staff never even reminded people to wear masks or made any effort to enforce mask policy. There were even signs that said wear mask at all times but people, guests, and staff did not care!

Beautiful location. We were told the restaurant would be open until 8.30 each evening, unfortunately when we went to eat at 7.45 it was already closed. There was nowhere else in the area open due to the COVID situation so had no dinner available to us. We checked prior to booking that a meal would be available so this was extremely disappointing.

Everything about this property was wonderful except for the most important thing: the beds. We were not able to sleep well because of the terrible mattresses. They should be able to fix this problem quickly and at low cost.
