Very beautiful hotel in the hearth of Braga at an affordable price. Located a few steps from the Se Cathedral it is perfect for families with kids and teens. Be informed that it is in a pedestrian area so it may be hard to find a parking slot.

Check in pleasant staff. Young girl helpful with directions. 1young. Not helpful,told me no coaches to travel on certain day but there was. Wen vacacted hotel didn’t say a word very rude. Wouldn’t stay again.

The location is walkable to the city and the room was clean and comfortable. The downside was all the noise from the room next door and there was nothing we could do because the front desk is not manned after 9 PM. We lost several hours of sleep. Don't order the breakfast, it isn't worth it.

Very friendly Staff, cleaned rooms and central location. The bed and pillows were a nightmare though: very uncomfortable. Every morning we were waking up with back sore and lack of sleep.

Had a great time in Braga, the hotel was in a great location, the staff were great especially the lady a breakfast who seemed to do everything else apart from reception. Rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was good. Never had a problem parking near the hotel.

The Albergaria Da Se is a solid 2-star hotel in the old section of Braga near cafes, restaurants and the cathedral. The room was clean and comfortable, and the reception staff were friendly. Be sure to have a cappuccino at the Olivia cafe in the town center-the BEST coffee in Portugal.

An overnight stop in this pleasant small town. Hotel in good location. Restaurant outside excellent. Wifi signal on 3rd floor not great. Pleasant reception staff. Breakfast average. Nothing exceptional but did the job. Can only pay in cash.

Very good Location, nice welcome and clean and affordable rooms. It was advertised on Hotels.com as a 3 star Hotel and the Hotel rates itself as 4 star. The rooms were dated but everything was spotless. There must have been a confusion with Hotels.com since the Hotel claimed that breakfast was not included but our booking said so. Breakfast was simple but ok. Also, free parking can only be exited and entered at certain times.

The air conditioner was really noisy, as was the generator outside the window. This meant sleeping without the air conditioner and without opening the windows. It got really hot and stuffy overnight, making it difficult to sleep. This was on a 1st floor room so might not be an issue higher up. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there's a lift! Breakfast was standard Portuguese - rolls, ham, cheese, yogurt, juice.

Although the hotel was at first a little difficult to find, the location proved ideal for me, almost next door to the cathedral, close to the shops, and within easy walking distance of the railway station. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, but the area is very quiet: ni traffic noises. The room was a little basic, but everything was there, including a hairdryer and plenty of towels. Breakfast was ok and included fresh fruit. There is also an elevator.
