Lovely clean apartment, with amazing views, and we even got upgraded to the top floor!

Good flat

This flat is in the heart of the Alfama district. The streets and stairs are steep but well worth the effort!

The hotel was very well located, with restaurants just a few steps away, definitely a plus. The staff was also very welcoming, however, getting there was a bit confusing. We first had to go to a different location in the city center, which wasn’t clearly explained in the booking instructions. We were also quite disappointed with the accommodation itself. The photos showed a very modern apartment, but in reality, it was rather old-fashioned, with a noticeable musty smell typical of older buildings. That said, the rooms were very clean, and the beds were comfortable. In summary: a good stay overall, despite the misleading presentation online.

We got this property from HOrigem after staying a couple of nights at another of their properties and deciding to stay an extra night in Lisbon. It was just a couple of blocks away from the first one and equally great. The view was less desirable than the first one which looked down at the street where the cable cars run by, but other than that, it was a great stay. We can't say anything but great things about the staff and their friendliness and helpfulness, Diogo even help carry my wife's baggage up the steep streets from the first property to this one. Highly recommended.

Great location near the castle. Beware if accessibility is an issue, as it requires climbing steps and is not easy to access via taxi. Very clean and nice.

Location had bed bugs, really not happy.

The only good thing I can say is it was conveniently located. It was not very clean. Floors were dirty. Mold in shower. Shower fixtures were broken. Air conditioner kept making a buzzing sound every 20 - 30 seconds. Ran out of hot water. When I called to let them know was told there was only one boiler for whole building. Later found out that wasn't the case. The dial on the water tank in the bathroom had been turned to off.

Don’t stay here! We did not see the comment left by other guest earlier this year. There’re bed bugs and ever since the day we stayed there, we got bed bug bites every nights. They even left with us in our luggage so moving to other hotel not going to save the problem.

The apartment we stayed in was full of bedbugs. I thought I had just been bitten by mosquitoes but the bites continued to get worse and more bites showed up in subsequent nights. On the third day of our stay, we found multiple bedbugs in the sheets when we woke. Communication with the owners was not great. They told us that they would change/wash the sheets which they did. But there were still bugs in the room when we got back that evening. We had to move to a new hotel at additional expense to us and the property have not been helpful in even covering the additional costs for a new place to stay. Cannot recommend the room we stayed in. Location however is excellent (though not much of a consolation)

Poor communication and management did not appear to care about making the customer comfortable... On the first night of my stay, i asked for a sheet for the pullout couch...i just wanted it because there was not one already provided....the lady said she was busy and would call me back....she did not and when i called her back over an hour later, she sent it to voice mail not once but twice and responded. That morning, ants (lots of ants) started coming up through the hard wood floors, they were on the countertops too....i was told that housekeeping would handle it around 1pm. This was at 9am when i reported it. Housekeeping is the only reason i am giving this place an ok...they were wonderful...they handled the ants and made the fold out bed comfortable for my second night. Management also did not address the broken air conditioner...in fact when we ask her about it, she rushed out the flat saying she did not know how to use it. It was October, but because we were on the 3rd floor and due to the heavy rain could not keep the windows open...it was a little stuffy. I cannot in good faith recommend this place because managements response to simple requests were treated as if i were bothering them, and i was only asking for basic items... this is my first negative reveiw and i traveled very often and for many years with Expedia.

Lovely space- safe and quiet. Felt like home. Nice people and interesting streets all around.

Terribly inflexible management with poor communication skills (none). This doesn’t matter until it does. I would recommend against staying here.

The location is great in Alfama on a residential street.

The place was very cosy and had everything that we needed. Supermarket nearby was very handy and also the view from the area was great. Travelers should be aware that the slopes could be quite steep carrying luggage.

The flats have been recently refurbished so it was all done up to a high standard. It was centrally located but it was on the top of a steep hill. The only downside was that the walls are very thin so you can hear every sound. We were on the 2nd floor and we could hear the people above us clearly.

The location was good and theflat was very clean & equpipped for our 7 night stay.
