Nice room centrally located

our room was quite small. the sink was about 15" and the counter that it was on was 18". the shower was small and in poor condition. the room was created by remodeling a larger apartment and they created too many apartments that were too small, at least ours. there was virtually no furniture aside from a decent bed, a small table and one stand to put a suitcase on. the room was on the second floor with no elevator and steep steps and you had to pass through a door way that was about 5.5 feet tall. surely not a studio.

Would not recommend this stay, at least in room 8. Good location but the price was way too high for the quality of the accommodation. Some of the other units looked nicer. Fine for a solo traveler for a night or two in the city, but not very comfortable. Apartment: D-. The room itself was dark and had a very strong mildew smell. The room had A/C but we could not get it to work well until day 3. Size of the room wasn’t bad but there is very little natural light. Windows overlook an alley. Bath tub does not have a fixed shower head. Location: B+. Good location but on a somewhat dirty street. Walking distance to many bars, restaurants, and attractions. We didn’t find the hills to be a problem at all as Baixa is a relatively flat part of the city. Check In: C. Directions were clear and it was an easy self check in. The entry way is very dark, smelly, and not welcoming. We didn’t see a reception desk but was told there was one. Host is responsive via WhatsApp.

The property is centrally located which makes it an excellent choice. Was clean and all that I needed.

Loved our stay! The hosts were very attentive and helpful. They provided recommendations and were quick to answer questions. The room was clean and the location is perfect.

Was great. Good location. Room 3 should have AC like the others. With this heat it was painful to sleep. But it was mentionned and I chose the room. City is a bit noisy but it is downtown Libon, we shluld not expect nothing less.

Prime location and clean room. The only thing is the bathroom is directly in the room (no ceiling) so if you are sharing the room with a friend/family member you don’t have much privacy when using the toilet.

The hot water kettle was great for making instant coffee, and the hot water came on quickly in the bathroom, and also had great pressure.

Property was very nice. We stayed in room 6, which had a kitchenette, large bathroom and great air conditioning. Plenty of good breakfast spots right out the front door. Walkable to Alfama neighborhood, the hiatoric squares and shopping areas. Staff was nice enough to let us in early once the room was cleaned since our flight landed in the morning. Would recommend again for a long stay in Lisbon.

BEWARE! This property is unsafe. Has a foul odor, to where they must keep a portable dehumidifier going. No lighting in the stair hallway. None of which is shared on listing. Dangerous and harmful conditions. We never checked in as a result of this and other issues. Expedia is working on getting us a full refund, but Lisbon Studios is not responding. Might have to get credit card company involved.

It’s close to many popular sites in lisbon. Easy to get uber too from this location and walkable to many restaurants

We did not like the property and left a day early to stay elsewhere. We felt the unit was inadequate for the price charged. Plywood bathroom door that hit the sink and you could barely get out. Location was the only redeeming part!

NOT the "comfort" apartment living advertised. The bed was very hard and old. On a scale of white to gray, the sheets were somewhere in the middle. The apt is on a street with the tram line so that noise thunders along and shakes the whole apartment. (And it still runs once an hour during the night). But the worst part was there is a terrible smell coming from the bathroom pipes. And since there is not a proper wall to separate the bathroom from the room, you cannot just close the bathroom door, you are surrounded by it all night. With the smell, the noise, and the uncomfortable bed, I only slept 2 hours the first night, and then I had to find another accommodation. (Also the walls between rooms are paper thin so I heard what my neighbors were doing all night as well.) You can't really tell from the pictures, but the floors are just the foundation stones. They have ripped off whatever covering was once there and sanded it down, so you are walking around on cold cement. The "walls" to create bathrooms are just painted particle board that don't even go to the ceiling to make a full wall. When I first opened the door, I thought they had accidentally given me a room that was still under construction. I had to find another place and lost all the money I had paid here. If you are the kind of person that can sleep in any conditions and are just looking for a convenient place, it is in a great location. But there was nothing comfortable about staying here.
