The staff is nice and helpful. Its location is alright and they have got a clean & cozy lounge where people can do their things. The bathrooms were in mantainance but the ones behind the kitchen were available. Kitchen facility and free breakfast were also ok. I stayed two nights in a female dorm, which shares the entrance with another dorm. It is kind of a weird half-open space, and somehow whoever goes in or out just bangs the door. Didn't sleep much because of the noises from the roomates, which is not unusual considering it's a dorm. Overall, this is a cozy little hostel and I would recommend it.

Inside the walls of the city, so reasonably close to everything. We were put in an annex and had to climb two steep flights of stairs. Place was very quiet.

Actually I did not stay--I booked 1 night in order to leave my luggage during sightseeing (was on the way from Lisbon to Estremoz--since there is no coin locker at the bus terminal). Convenient location. When the manager (?) found out that I am not staying overnight, he charged me only 5 Euro instead of 16.

The receptionist did not ask us for any identification when we checked in. He asked us to pay in cash upfront. Then he took us to a different building nearby, showed us to our room on the second floor. We had booked a TWIN BED room and was given a 4-bed dormitory room. It had no safe or decorations as it is being listed on this website obviously because it was not the room we had booked. On a different note breakfast was good and location was great. Very disappointed indeed.

Booked a single. The door to the single (which was really a set of twin beds), was kind of flimsy and didn't lock from the outside. This made it kind of difficult to go the restroom without having to lock everything in the locker, which was pretty inconvenient. The staff was super kind and helpful at check-in.

Hostel was fine until we woke up with bed bugs on us. A very nice employee moved us to a different building at midnight but the damage had been done. Spoke to the owner in the morning and he said he knew the room had bed bugs but it had been treated so "90 percent of them were dead.". He rented out a room KNOWING it had bed bugs in it.

A hostel stay that remindedus of international travels in our hitchhiking days. Basic breakfast, camaradie with other guests, helpful hosts. Major negative is that the hotel doesn't accept credit cards.

The hotel is smack in the middle of the old town, but quiet at night. Twin room basic but quite large and clean. Shared bathroom also basic but clean. Breakfast self service, ample, with cheese ham honey biscuits aso. on offer. Wifi good. All in all a great deal for the price.

Pedro was the staff when I stayed there. He is very helpful and nice. The location is desirable. Customers share bathrooms but the price is half of what a normal hotel charges. It also including breakfast.

Pedro and Susanna are amazing! The place is super clean and quaint with lots of character. They both went out of there way to provide us with all the info we needed and even took us on a tour for 1/3 of the price as the travel office offered. I highly recommend this place. I was sad to leave:(

It's very hard to find; the sign is very small and your gps will have trouble finding you. If you have a car park outside the city walls and walk in. They offered some breakfast and it was standard hostel fare. Another guest snored very loudly and didn't turn off it his light. I recommend earplugs and a sleeping mask. For €12 it's hard to complain about it not being ideal.

It's a hostel, so rating it on the value compared to other hostels, it was very good. The rooms were clean, bathrooms reasonable, and facilities decent. You received a basic breakfast of cereal, bread, juice, coffee, and/or tea. The host was very nice, helpful, and accomodating. Location was excellent.

Ceci est une categorie "hotel de jeunesse". Jai voulu essayer malgré mes 45 ans... je suis convaincue que pour ceux qui n'ont pas de difficulté a tolérer l'absence d'intimité, cet hébergement peut convenir, malgré un notable inconfort du matelas. L'emplacement est excellent pour ce qui a à voir à Evora, Portugal.
