Room was clean, only had one towel but was quickly replaced by attentive staff. Easy check in process, contacted Filomena by phone who was at the property straight away.

The staff made you feel at home.

I had a fantastic stay at this quiet guest house. The room was modern and very clean, providing a comfortable retreat. The breakfast offered a delicious and varied selection each morning. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming; while they didn't speak fluent English, they communicated brilliantly using a translation app to ensure all needs were met. The cherry on top was the perfect location within walking distance to Monte Gondor beach. Highly recommended!

Difficulty to contact staff from the room

There several key issues that having been aware of these I would not have booked this property. For clarity, I stayed in economy no. 2. Firstly, it was not straightforward to get the code to access the property. Having called the number as requested I was told to message, having already done so that morning without receiving a response. Several messages later I was able to get access to the room. Second, on entering the room there was loads of ants coming from the ceiling and making there way under the bed. To the credit of the owner the issue was sorted whilst I was out. However, this was so clearly evident that this should have been dealt with before my arrival. Third, the room had a shared bathroom. At the time of booking (and writing this review) the economy rooms have shared bathroom which is not stated at all on the room description. Fourth, the room was not secure. The sliding door did not have a lock and the outside screen does not lock either meaning the room can be accessed by anyone who can access the balcony. Fifth, the bed in the room is very old and squeaky. Both me and my partner ended up with back ache due to the bed. Lastly, the breakfast is well below par but to be expected given the price range. However, the other issues really aren't acceptable.

Has pleasant seating area with coffee tea facilities small pool.

First impression, it was difficult to reach the contract to gain access and then it was done over the phone, no personal face to face meeting. Small room, squeaky bed, small bathroom were my wife nearly fell into the shower only I caught her because there is no room between the door and shower tray. The walls are paper thin and the people next door talked late into the night preventing us sleeping properly. The smell of cigarette smoke in the corridor outside the room was nasty and some of the breakfast dishes were stained with food and the tables not cleaned from the previous users when we arrived for breakfast. The breakfast selection was fairly decent and the house is nice place, nicely designed just a pity we got the basement with the paper thin walls and tight Location is convenient for VRSA, Monto Gordo getting onto the A22 for Spain or Faro. Overall I think if I was there at the different time and had a room on the upper level I'd have scored differently.

No one to greet, no prior arrangement of access to key safe number, room not cleaned properly sand all over floor and in wardrobe put you up bed not removed very disappointed, we didn’t stay the night booked another accommodation

Nice place, basis breakfast, but enough to start your day off. Yoghurt, bread, jam and marmalade , cheese and ham. Tea Coffee and Orange juice. Swimming pool in the garden. Easy and free parking outside on the quiet road. Only close to one cafe bar restaurant. Suitable for drinks and snacks. Had to drive to find other places, but only 2 to 3 km.

We had a great staym the room was comfortable and the price was excellent. The only problem was that we were in room 1 and we could hear the couple in room 2 very clearly. Then they took a very long time in the shared bathroom. The walls could use some insulation for the noise. The breakfast was great! Scrambled eggs, toast with a variety of things to put on it, cereal, juice, coffee. Next time i will book a room with a bathroom. But i plan to return. Great place overall.

We didn't realize that this was a bed and breakfast when we booked it, but it was surprisingly quiet and comfy. Great for a few nights. Beds and pillows were really comfy! Had a little breakfast in the morning. Pool was clean but we didn't have time to use it. We would have only liked better TV and Internet connection as it was spotty and kept going out.

There was renovation work being carried out so it was noisy

Great place to stay. Easy walking to everything. Nice and quiet at night.

Clean accomodation but could do with bigger shower cubicle in Studio apartment. Good location in residential area with 10 min walk to beach. Real Pao local bar / shop was handy for necessities. Could have improved the breakfast which was convenient in the guesthouse. But overall it was a pleasant stay for the area.

No geral a estadia foi bastante positiva. Não vou enumerar os pontos positivos, pois foram bastantes e só me resta dizer "mantenham assim". Vou apontar apenas um ponto negativo, que servirá como crítica construtiva: o pequeno almoço deixa um pouco a desejar. Se não for dos primeiros a chegar, não restará muita variedade. Voltarei.
