This hotel is truly a little gem. Staff are all so courteous, helpful and friendly. Continental breakfast was excellent and the bedrooms were spotless. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were very soft.The Colombo bar/restaurant serves great food and cocktails. Having entertainment at the Colombo was added value. Will certainly recommend to friends and family. Brilliant central location to beach, shops and restaurants. Price was very reasonable. Hope to return one day.

Nice place, close to the beach. Kind staff, Great breakftast. Wish the Wi-Fi reach the room. Suggest rubber insulated isolatators be installed to minimize sound when room doors are being closed during the night.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Hard- working cleaning staff. Area is run-down, loud locals in the are shout out vulgar statements in the mornings and evenings- you can tell they don’t like tourists. Sometimes felt unsafe because of this. Anyone from the street can walk in and use the pool.

Great staff. Just very small bedrooms and noisy between rooms. Pool is a little green, especially on the stairs. Colombo bar is awesome. Breakfast buffet is very good. Our room wasnt ready until after 2pm but we were given a free coffee coupon to sit and have while we waited. Tv in bedroom was the smallest Ive seen since the 80's. Bathroom was very nice and updated.

I stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting Porto Santo. Peaceful, quiet and a very relaxed atmosphere - and there was a tasty continental breakfast. Thehotel was very clean and bright - there is air conditioning should you need it. It is mainly used by Portuguese guests which is super ideal for me wanting to immerse myself in all things local.The hotel is literally 5 mins walk from the centre of Vila Baleira and the beach. There are plenty lovely local restaurants, cafés and bars - perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful too. Would highly recommend.

Was disappointing when we arrived with heavy luggage and there was no lifts. We were given rooms in the last floor and my grandparents struggled a lot to go up the stairs to 3rd floor.

Property was a bit dated … needs a bit of a make over, brought up to 21st century. Friend and I stayed in a noisy room facing the front of the hotel - constant noise from people walking past, motor bikes/cars (even with window shut). Despite location being ideal for the beach and staff friendly not much to say.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Hotel is tired, old, dirty and staff is rude. We are in 2020 and they fly have a BAD Wifi working only in reception. Walls is paper thin...so you can hear anything in the other rooms. I found hair all over the floor in the room. Choose another place!!!! NAO FIQUES AQUI!!!! Hotel esta velho, sujo e o pessoal que trabalha por la e rude e mal educado incluindo a gerente! Estamos em 2020 e acredite ou nao mas a wifi somente funciona (e mal) na recepção!!! Parede dos quartos e super fina e escuta-se tudo do outro lado. Achei fios de cabelo pelo chão no meu quarto! ESCO;HA QUALQUER OUTRO LUGAR!

Arrived very late due to flight delays, reception exceedingly welcoming and room above expectations in decor (light and airy) bathroom - spotless, beds very comfy. At all times hotel staff very friendly and English excellent. Continental Breakfast extensive and kept fully operational until 15minutes after official closing time. The choices good and croissants, orange cake and fruit especially good.
