Quinta da Marka is just WOW!!!
The mansion itself is well furnished, quiet, the grounds are well maintained and amazing. The view of the Douro is breathtaking. The pool area is also simply amazing overlooking the Douro.
The food and the service we’ve had there we just out of this world. The staff is so amazing and are so helpful and friendly.
We had planned on visiting a few wineries during our stay there but were so comfortable that we didn’t move. They also produce their own wine so we just chillax and enjoyed the wine, food, pool, view, and service
The ac in rooms was working really well

Our stay at Quinta Da Marka was exceptional. This centuries-old vineyard overlooks the Douro River, with sweeping views in every direction. The accommodations are a newer addition and include seven comfortable, well-appointed rooms. Guests can also enjoy the pool, scenic river-view terraces, and walking paths through the vineyard. The family lives on site, and our host, Angela, was warm and welcoming. Her sister and mother staff the kitchen and visit guests during dinner to make sure everyone is enjoying the meal. The food and wine were outstanding. Breakfast offers prepared entrées for each guest, plus a generous buffet. I highly recommend this property and would gladly return on another trip to northern Portugal.

I hope to return to this area someday just to stay at quinta da marka! We were fortunate to have the whole place to ourselves and everyone made us feel like we were at home!
If you have the chance to have dinner here during your stay you must, its beautiful home cooked foods. Annabelle and her mother took great care of us and made sure we were happy with our meals and would even ask us what we would want nex time. The house is huge and there is plenty to do, from the pool if the weather is warm, plenty of games and books and just watching the beautiful landscape. They also serve food throughout the day if you are hungry whilst there. Don't forget to also try their wines! Thanks also to Angela who was very kind and also took great care of us! Thank you to everyone who took care of us, truly an experience we will never forget and will tell for years

Stunning property, spacious rooms, very clean and comfortable. We were met by John who took excellent care of us but the other members of staff were just as helpful. The restaurant on site was not only convenient but served a tasty dinner and brekky. The weather was perfect and the pool highly enjoyable, overlooking tbe douro valley/river. I would recommend a bottle of wine while you're swimming. I would love to return here one day.

Quinta da Marka is an amazing place to stay. They view of the Douro Valley abs River from the terraces and the pool are sensational. The service was brilliant, with Angela going above and beyond to ensure we had an excellent stay. The breakfast was good, with lots of options, dinner and the selection of wine and port was also great. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough, we will be returning.
