Quinta de Recião has numerous properties. This review is for the one-bedroom cottage (Casa do Moinho - the Mill House)
The Mill House is a beautiful property, hosted by beautiful people. The main room has kitchen, table, lounge, small TV and a fire. The separate bedroom has two single beds with an adjoining bathroom.
The cottage sits right on the edge of the Rio Varosa (Varosa River) and the sound of running water is peaceful and calming.
There is the option to have a home cooked meal personally delivered to the door, with entree, main, dessert and a bottle of wine for just €25/meal. Cheaper than restaurants in the nearest town. And much more convenient

Enrique et Francisca, were very welcoming. Enrique took us around the property and gave us indications on what to visit. Dinner and breakfast were very good. Would definitely go back.
