We thought this was a great place in Porto. The location was excellent - central to many of the most popular sights, and many places to eat super close by. We were able to go to the office before check in to drop off our luggage, which was a huge convenience. In term of the lodging, we stayed in the 2 BR apartment for 6 people - we were 4. it was relatively spacious for 4 (though not tons of storage in one of two bedrooms). BRs were comfortable, bathrooms were nice (having 2 was excellent), and the AC worked great. It is up a lot of stairs, but we knew what we were getting into and so that was fine - if it's not fine for you, be aware. The only complaint was that about once an hour the toilet would random start running very loudly - we could easily stop it by jiggling the handle but it did wake us in the night. We only stayed 2 nights so didn't want the disruption of having someone come look at it, so it's on us that we didn't ask to see if they could fix it.

As this is more a group of apartments than a hotel in one building, my assumption is that experiences will differ quite a bit between the various houses and the apartments in those houses. We (family of 5, with 3 kids under 9 years) stayed in a top level apartment at the edge of the old city. The apartment was in very good condition, with modern amenities. And when we discovered that one of the beds was significantly harder than the others, the owner was extremely quick to fix this with a much softer mattress overlay. Overall, their responsiveness was very good. One thing to note is that these are very old buildings. While ours was in great condition and quirky in just the right way, it didn't have an elevator. So we had to carry our luggage up 5 flights of stairs. By the time we were done, I was seriously out of breath, and I'm quite a strong person. Not at all a show-stopper, and completely understandable, but might be important to know this for some. Otherwise, would easily stay there again, we had a great time! And the location is great, everything is easily walkable from there.

The apartment was up quite a steep street and up 3 flights of stairs, with no lift, so not ideal for everyone. It was a good size overall, however the bedroom was a bit small, with no bedside tables due to size and no access to one side of the bed as pushed against a wall, again due to size. Although we didn’t use them, the kitchen facilities were good. Nice to have a separate lounge area. Bathroom was a bit tight as well but a good shower.

Great location, walkable within minutes to the Luis bridge, tours, shops, restaurants etc. The place is very clean, good pressure water in the bathrooms. We had 5 ppl travelling with us, we had appt 10, had 2 bathrooms. They do not have an elevator, when I had asked about the floor we would be on we were told the 2nd floor. 2nd floor is def not the same as Canada. There were 39 steps, I had my senior parents with me so it was a bit hard for them to go up and down the flight of stairs and I had to carry the heavy luggage's. However, contacting the place was very fast and super responsive so it did make up for it. I would highly recommend this place, but if you have issues with stairs, confirm how many steps to your room. Otherwise 10/10.

It was a lovely newly renovated large apartment with great views of the city and cathedral on one side and literally right next to the tower at top of city at the other. However to get the great views, means it’s right at the top of the building. Four floors and eight flights of stairs. No lift. So think about the weight of your case ! The chap in the agency we pick the keys up from was fantastic in telling us the best places to visit and eat. We queued for a couple of small typical Portuguese restaurants but it was worth it. Great food at good prices.

For a family of 5 with 3 grown boys, this space was perfect. It was extremely clean. Having been to other places, I appreciated that I didn't have to do anything upon check out as my cleaning fee covered it. However, I had an issue with Expedia. They confirmed the apartment I wanted as this service has many but they never told me the correct address. Fortunately the correct apartment wasn't far but with cobble stones and steep roads, it wasn't fun with luggage. The location I had was right near Clerigos tower and around many attractions.

Parking is very confusing- and it is extremely difficult to park in front of the property. Might be best to find a garage first and then take trips to unload. No issues if you take a taxi to the place. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay in Porto.
