Very nice part of the city to stay in right before catching on a plane home. We had already spent several days at the beginning of our trip to Portugal in the old city center. This is the modern section. Massive modern mall and lots of shops nearby. Left too early to comment on breakfast. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite. Nice. Recommend staying here

On the 13th floor ( top) the shower pump is useless - hot- cold- hot- cold - made us scream ! You could hear the pump. The windows are double glazed but you can still hear the trains below. The area around is lovely. Modern futuristic buildings and lots of eateries.

Showing its age but still a fine property. The bar is a bit hit and miss up on a quasi mezzanine over the reception and a bit small for the size of the hotel with seats sometimes not available. Great for access to the MEO Arena

After a long and exhausting day of driving, I realized that I had mistakenly booked my reservation for Saturday to Sunday instead of Sunday to Monday. This was an honest mistake, as it was impossible for me to arrive in time — I still had 2,800 km left to drive, which meant I was three days away from reaching the hotel. As soon as I noticed the error, I immediately called the hotel to try to correct it, but no one answered. I then contacted Expedia’s support team, and even they were unable to get any response from the VIP Executive Arts Hotel. I also sent a direct message to the hotel through the Expedia chat, but again, I received no reply. In the end, the hotel kept my money and provided no explanation or assistance — not even a simple message acknowledging the situation. I’m truly disappointed to have lost $106 for a stay that was still three days away. This experience reflects very poorly on the hotel’s customer service, and I sincerely hope they learn to be more empathetic and responsive to tired travelers in the future.
