Qabila Westbay Hotel by Marriott

The hotel is old and amenities needs updating. I wasn't comfortable in the bed too. However, the area is nice and staff were super friendly.

Nice hotel ,friendly staff ,only one thing :the room service kept our room open thrn they didnt clean nor put water

The staff were amazing and a big plus for the hotel. The sea view was beautiful.

Very safe food was great with different choices and the hospitality was awesone

Comfortable nice

Really enjoyed my stay at this luxury hotel. Located in diplomatic area, within walking distance of corniche. Plan to stay again in future. Fresh, hot breakfast. Great staff, excellent customer service. Highly recommended

My family and I arrived at the hotel 4 hours before the check-in. We were greeted by Soukayna and one of her colleagues and that moment I knew that our stay at the hotel would be amazing! They went above and beyond to get us in a room asap, non-smoking, a rollaway bed placed in the room, and on top of all that, they upgraded us to an executive room. Free valet parking was great as well. Very fast, and the guys were friendly. We did a lot of dine in services since my mom was not feeling her best. First night, they managed to get our food within the 30-minute window. Fahad brought our food up. He is a very polite young man, and I noticed he likes things, perfect, neat, and paid attention to detail. Even when picking up the empty plates, he was gentle and cleaned up our table spotlessly. Second night food took over an hour, and the guy that came to pick up our empty plates was rough and did not clean our table. Crumbs and soup were left on the table. Third night waited over an hour for our food, and I had ordered 2 shrimp plates, but only one came up. Had to wait for the second plate. I put in an order of soup, and that wasn't showing up until an hour later, so we didn't want it anymore. Breakfast was really good as well. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would pick this hotel over and over again because of Soukayna and Fahad, which they gave us that welcoming feeling like we were family. They definitely need a promotion with a big raise! Can not wait to come back!

Lobby was a shock for a 5 stars hotel

Good value hotel, about 10 minute walk to the Metro. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Excellent staff. Super friendly. Doha is amazing. Hotel close to the mall, 10.minutes from Souq Waqif and q0 minutes from The Pearl.

First of all check in process took more than 20 minutes! The rooms are pretty outdated

Excellent hotel, amazing services, all friendly employees, every minor issue was resolved within 10 mins max, worth the price. Fabulous breakfast buffet. Amazing Hoilday for me and my mother. Thank you Qabila Westbay for having us. 🙂❤️

Great location and friendly staff.

We had a very pleasant stay.

Arrived on an early morning flight so asked for early check in if possible. Guy at the desk stated we would have to pay another £200 so i said it was ok and we would wait it out until 3pm. Then he advised there was a room available but not what we paid for (city view instead of sea view) that he would do free of charge but if we took it we couldn’t move again even though we weren’t getting what we booked. Booking was for 3 people but room was really only able to accommodate 2. We ended up rearranging the room and putting the 2 twin beds together so everyone could fit. Later told by reception staff this is a problem when booking through third party sites. Half way through the trip we complained to another member of staff who was really good and agreed to change us to the seaview room we had booked. She upgraded us to a suite and included an additional bed. We were told it would be ready in 10 minutes so ran up to repack but in actual fact it took over 2 hours and we missed an excursion we had booked as a result. Overall the hotel is ok. Majority of staff are lovely and breakfast was good. Unfortunately no beach access, beach is 5-10 minutes away and you need to pay a fee to use it. Pool is an indoor pool. In terms of value for money we could have booked one of the 5star hotels across the road for only a few pounds more and had private beach/outdoor pool access. (Hilton/four seasons/sheraton etc). We had family staying at the hilton and facilities there were much better.
