Hotel Astra

The room was very good, clean and big. The hotel was about 10 km away from city centre but we were travelling by car so it wasnt a problem at all. The breakfast had a variety of food and was tasty.

Our garbage wasn't cleaned for up to 3 days and only one outlet in the room. Inconvenient for a 2 person room

yes good hotel, good stuff, excellent breakfast, advantage also breakfast served starting 7 AM and even if you come 6:45 (what many guests do) you will not be asked to wait till 7:00, only maybe will not get sausages as hot food appear at 7...

Great, freshly cooked breakfast buffet, food options for vegan and vegetarian. No kettle in the room. No enough plugs to charge phone, no fan or ac, window curtains were not fully blocking the light from outside, toiletries include just hand wash and body wash, no coffee machine or hot water in the room.

its a budget hotel + clean very spatious room with bathtub + walking distance to public transportation + close to Jižní spojka city freeway + quiet neghborhood - very difficult to find a free parking in the streets spot nearby, I had to park every evening on some spot hundreds meters away. - only payed public parking in the streets - the breakfast buffet is basic, also in terms of items, but You have to expect it for the room price - some stains on the carpets, curtains did fully close, so there were streetlights shining in the night

Good hotel Astra to stat at Prague. Good connection to bus and metro station to visit other places. Connect to Main central is 15 minutes.

Old dated room, but clean, very spacious. Twin beds and sofa bed with very short duvet and thin pillow, large wardrobe, fridge. No main light in the room, broken bed led lights. No kettle, tea coffee in the room. We arrived late, haven’t see any shops around to buy drinks/snacks. Bathroom shower water not hot enough, just warm. Laptop size TV screen in the room. Tasty breakfast with good choice of food and drinks. Hotel is good but basic place for short stays, 5mins walk from metro.

Charming 60’s era hotel in residential area.

Apart from the TV not working, enjoyed our stay, friendly staff, good connection from the local metro station and handy kebab shop on the way back to the hotel.

Hi, I’m really disappointed due to the reasons below. • This hotel checkout time was 10am which should be 12pm to 2pm. •We have been told this hotel is 3km from centre but it was 9km. • Room were really hots also curtains were broken we asked them to fix it they said tomorrow and they didn’t fix it. • We parked our car in hotel parking and someone scratched our car, hotel parking aint safe. • Rude receptionist. It was cheap and gave me nothing to complain about. The people who worked there were nice

The hotel was comfortable, but the room chair was not. The room curtains doesn't cover the window, only partially, the drainage runs through the toilet room so you can hear every time the upstairs guests flush the toilet. The front desk staff was friendly and ready to help. The restaurant food was 1 out of 10.

Curtains do not cover the whole window. One lamp at the bedside table was working only by tightening the bulb. The entry to the shower was high and tight, i was afraid of an injury always making a step from the shower. Everything else was ok, hot water, heating, new hairdryer, breakfast.

Okay for a reasonable price

Not as pictured, I did not end up staying here. No TV, no AC, rough looking area. Ended up paying for a place I did not stay at.

I stayed one night here for an early morning medical appointment. I'm glad it was only one night. When I arrived I was given the key to my room. I went to my room and the door was open. It became quite clear the room had not been cleaned and the only chair was missing from the room. I went back to the front desk and on my way I saw in another room the cleaning ladies were sitting back, relaxing and chatting away in one of the rooms. I smelled cigarette smoke. Were they smoking? Maybe it was a guest. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful however and gave me a different room. The room was on the surface clean but when I looked deeper the walls had things on them that should have been wiped clean, the desk drawer was filled with hairs and garbage, the phone was caked with sticky dirt. Then the top sheet over a mattress topper was the only sheet changed and the other sheet covering the mattress was stained with dust and grime collecting in it. Then I looked in the bed and there were...pubic hairs. Yikes. Not just one but lots. Also the sheets had holes in them. I was worried about bedbugs. This hotel is adequate for what it is and conveniently located for my needs, but they really need to get new cleaners who take their job seriously.
