This hotel is walking distance to every tourist spot I wanted to hit. I was not disappointed.
There are though some things that you might find less than luxurious. Hotel Palace is the 4 star part of Hotel Roudne and only has front desk services after 2pm. The staff and continental breakfast is at the Hotel Roudne but it is CLOSE! The walk down the street from the hotel room to breakfast was 30 seconds. The purchasable parking isn't necessary but offered for added security and is 2 blocks away.
The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk over a bridge to the city center.
The staff was amazing and friendly, the breakfast was a fantastic example of a European breakfast.
I have stayed in a much more expensive hotel in Plzen and was not as satisfied. Hotel Palace

Last minute decision to stay overnight in Pilsen on the way to Prague. Those hotel by location, review & price. The center of town has the beer museum and the old church tower & clock. The Condo area is 200 yards across the river. Enjoyed it.

It's very good for the price. Close to town. Decent breakfast with good scrambled eggs and all the usual continental stuff. Room is comfy, if a bit small. Nice bathroom. Staff at reception friendly and even sold me a ticket for the tram back to the railway station. However the windows need proper curtains or a blind. You check in down the road and get your breakfast there but that's not a problem, it's only a few doors away. The restaurant next door is good and has Pilsner Urquell on tap. Overall I thought the hotel was very good value for money.

For a four star hotel this was anything but. Two star sure, three star, hardly. This hotel's internet was hardly working the night I came and it went out for most of the night. That part was a little frustrating since I needed the internet to plan out my train tickets. Also it was quite hot outside and having a hotel room that lacked air conditioning was quite frustrating. I had the window open for most of the night and people were yelling outside very loud so it made for a sleepless night. Overall bad hotel and I will not stay there again.

Serviceminded and helpful staff. Easy hotel to find, and located in a quiet neighbourhood. Only things that was negative was that our bathroom was not cleaned during our three-night stay, and the minibar-fridge was not cold.

My room here was exceptionally clean and nice. The shower was nice and the receptionist was very kind. The breakfast was at a sister hotel about 100 feet away but it was also nice. A great room for the money!

Gutes Restaurant (Steakhaus) direkt nebenan. Einfaches aber ausreichendes Frühstück. Etwa 5 Minuten Spaziergang über eine Brücke bis zur Altstadt.
