First of all, I thank ALL the staff at the hotel for helping make my husbands birthday special. They placed a bottle of sparkling wine in his room. They gave him a cake slice in the restaurant and accommodated our reservation request. The room was clean and spacious. Parking was easy. The issue was the bed. For the suite, it should have a nicer bed. This was an old bed that sunk in the middle. It was not comfortable to sleep at night for our back and the room was also hot. The air conditioner did not work. The location is far from Old Town but still better for parking and driving to Bran Castle and Peleş castle. The food is delicious in their restaurant and the wine is also VERY good. The staff did everything positive and would help as much as possible. It is an older hotel but the staff and owners make it a very happy stay. The bed was the main issue for paying extra for the suite.

The room and shower space were huge! We had ample space to leave our suitcases open and move around the room. There were enough outlets to allow us to recharge the phones and the camera as well as work on the laptop. We controlled the heat. Actually we closed it and opened a window to a good crisp winter air. The location is good. We were also able to walk to the closest mall and find places to eat or shop. True, it is not close to the old city but you can take a bus or walk the city, as we did. And on the way we saw Brassov and its many faces. The youth walking together, the old playing a card game in the parks, people with groceries. A city with diffrent neighborhoods and new building sites. A living and growing city. The staff was super friendly and not pushy. The breakfast buffet had a good fresh veriety of choices. And the staff there were friendly and paitent.
