Hotel Boutique 5 Continents

Super clean and modern rooms. The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the old town. Delicious breakfast and nice restaurant. We had some nice drinks one evening. The only drawback is the parking. They advertise as “free parking” but they only have 5 or 6 spots in their courtyard. When we stayed there, one car was blocking three spots so we ended up paying for parking in the street.

The best you can find in Craiova The staf is amazing , super clean super high end , it is one of a kind, i keep coming back to enjoy my staying every year 5 star accommodation and experience

A really nice find. A two minute walk to the old town shopping area. Beautifully restored historic building with a nice blend of modern touches. Comfortable and included all the amenities desired such as hotel services and a massage therapist.

This place was very frustrating - a combo of great things and really mediocre things which should not be taking place at a hotel this pricey, and which styles itself as a luxurious boutique hotel. On the plus side - nice staff, great beds, quiet building and environment, beautiful and distinct building, with lots of character. The not-so-good things - the breakfast, while plentiful, was clearly re-using food from previous days, like bread rolls, chia puddings, bananas (they kept getting darker and darker) etc. No real orange juice for breakfast, only the undrinkable pre-packaged stuff, yet they had the facilities to make you a fresh one - but only if you paid extra. The towels in the bathroom were clean, but had been washed so many times that they've become as harsh as sandpaper, rough and threadbare - really out of place in this hotel; and finally - and I appreciate this is subjective - the decor is atrocious, a lot of garish, fake-luxury furniture, awful paintings, the kitschiest of kitsch - with no information at all about the building, its history, all of which is a touristic goldmine - but the interest just isn't there i guess.

Even though the property is aesthetically, beautiful, there is no regard for the comfort of the guest. There is no elevator, and we were forced to leave our clothes and suitcases in the car and climb up three flights of steps. We are in our 70s and we could not lug heavy suitcases up those stairs. We arrived late in the day, and there was no air conditioning in the hot room. We opened a small window and no air could come inside. We spent the rest of the night, hot and perspiring. We did not enjoy our stay. However, the, breakfast was excellent, one of the best we have had in Romania, and the staff were very kind. I wish the owner would place more emphasis on comfort of the guest than in the elegant appearance in the hotel. They need an elevator and to turn on the air conditioning when it is hot at night. By the way, we were not the only guests who were hot and miserable. Another family told us they were hot the entire night and could not sleep.

Interior was amazing, rooms are huge.

An amazing old world hotel that has been renovated to provide every comfort - a fantastic ambience. The service was excellent and the breakfast sensational. I would highly recommend this property.

An excellent hotel with great rooms and amenities, breakfast included, and friendly personnel. The hotel is truly a gem, situated in Downtown Craiova in a renovated historical building. The finishes and services make it a truly exceptional experience. Even though there was a confusion around the booking, the staff worked hard to correct the mistake and things got resolved fairly and promptly.

Small room on second floor . Air conditioning very weak took 12 h to make the room tolerable. Breakfast without orange juice …

The property offered everything we needed especially an amazing breakfast. The staff was great, especially Larissa.

The hotel is really nice. Good taste,, elegant and quiet. Where you need to pay attention is on the professionalism of the receptionists. Verify all the time the invoice and the reservation.

Front desk lady was very friendly and remembered myself from my last stay. Air conditioning was working this time during summer so that was a plus. Rooms and hotel are very nice!
