What Guests Say About Their Stay

We had a great stay at this hotel. The check-in experience was ok, it was a bit weird the clerk couldn't find Netherlands in their register, but in the end they gave us Seattle as home address which worked for me. The room had enough space and there were enough amenities. I had a view on a church on a hill. I fortunately didn't share any walls with other rooms, but there is a recurring noise pollution of slamming doors due to the nature of the doors. I think the hotel should do something about that. The breakfast was great, and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby in Predeal. The hotel location is great, not so far away from Peles castle. The hotel has private parking space in the back, which leads to a back entrance. We had some difficulty finding the parking space, but we were tired after 4 hours of driving so perhaps it was just us. We didn't use most of the hotel spa facilities as we used this hotel for passing through. On check-out we had to pay 5 lei (Romanian currency, RON) in taxes per room which is apparently a thing in Predeal.

The room was very comfortable with an excellent bed. But they need to be more careful with the little thing. For example, the shower head had the hose damaged and it was difficult to take a shower. The breakfast was good, but not a 4* hotel breakfast, as there wasn't any fresh fruit juice available (only some fruit beverage, with alot of added sugar).

It was our third year staying here, and unfortunately, this year we were quite disappointed. We have two small children and had booked a deluxe suite months in advance. Upon arrival, we were placed on the fourth floor, which was exceedingly hot. The portable AC was not fully functional, and we had to endure the noise it made all night, which was so loud that it disrupted our sleep. The heat and noise were unacceptable, especially considering the almost $200 per night rate. Additionally, the water pressure in the shower was very low, and there were no outlets in the bathroom. Furthermore, the restaurant prices were quite high, and the service did not meet our expectations. Overall, we were very disappointed with our stay, especially given the amount we spent.

The hotel is good, we loved the location and the building, they provided a very good breakfast. The pool was around 27 degres and the hot tub at body tempera. We did not like the carpet in the room, it was old, dirty, stained, too bad this was a turn off as you enter the room. Otherwise everything was good.
