My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights. We performed Umrah independently, so we booked and checked in the hotel ourselves. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and easy. The room was very large and clean. We stayed in a king-size room on the 9th floor. The breakfast was delicious and complete. The hotel is very close to the Grand Mosque, only a 5-minute walk. We were very satisfied with our stay. Thank you to the Ajyad Makarem Hotel for providing us with comfort during our stay in Mecca.

My recent stay at the Makarem Ajjyad hotel was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home. The hotel's staff, particularly Sayed Khan, Forhad (omelette guy), and Shahadat Hossen, were incredibly friendly and helpful. Their politeness and attention to detail were truly commendable. Clean room, staff were great and very helpful. Beds were genuinely very comfortable. Hotel was quite packed so sometimes requests from the room took a bit more time than usual but hotel staff still did their best to fulfil them.

We stayed at this hotel last year and we had a very good experience. This year, we arrived very early that day at around 6:00am and we were promised to check us in once they have a double Queen room ready. We reserved a superior 2 queen bedroom and after waiting until the regular check in time which was 4:00pm, they checked us in a Quattro bedroom which was kind of a disappointed but we were very tired to complaint or argue!! Also some coffee stains were in the floor in the room when we checked in. There was no coffee in the room while there was a machine. The reception guy who met us early was friendly and helpful. The concierge was very nice.

No room service No towels or toilet paper Room phone won’t work The Toilet had some terrible smell of sewerage and we complained daily. They said some engineering issue but could not provide another room since hotel was full. A friend who stayed on a different floor had the same smell in the room Water outage for good quite sometime and when the water came back was rusty color for hours. Breakfast starts late for Mecca but OK Won’t stay there again.

Amazing staff, easy check in and out, enough elevators, very close to the haram about a 4/5 minute walk. Clock tower is about 7/8 minutes away. Nice security and amazing WiFi service. Would definitely recommend, for umrah.

This property is a bit older, but it’s clean and well-maintained. Most of the popular restaurants are on the other side of the Clock Tower, but still within a comfortable 15–20 minute walk. The staff are amazing — very friendly and welcoming. The price is reasonable for the location, which makes it a good value overall. One thing to note is that while the walk to the Haram isn’t too bad, there’s often a bottleneck at the entrance, which can get a bit crowded and messy at times.

They cancel my reservation and left me to spend hours running down the streets with my wife and kids looking for a hotel in very busy night in a very busy season The staff didn’t even care about my family well being or show any sympathy towards us even though we have confirmation of the reservation weeks a head from Expedia Just told us that we dont have any reservation under my name while i have a confirmation for the booking
