Lovely modern rooms, only thing is the adjoining walls are stud so very thin but it didn’t bother us and we didn’t have bad luck with the other guests staying next to us but I suppose it could happen! Reception lady was very friendly and it was a breeze to check in and out. We had breakfast which was reasonable and set us on for the day. The location means you can either drive (5 mins) or walk (40 mins) to Urquhart castle and see Loch Ness from a good viewpoint.

Cosy hotel on the Loch. Comfortable room with all you need. Tea kettle and the bathroom a good size. Great water pressure in shower. Cafe was delicious and affordable. Friendly staff helped us with questions and recommendations. Shopping on site as well. Does not have an elevator it that is a concern to you but it’s only one flight. Easy walk to pubs and Loch Ness tourist sites.

Conveniently located on the A82 close, not within walking distance, to Loch Ness. Off road parking outside the Loch Ness experience which is next door. Our room was at the back so quiet. Comfortable room with good size bathroom. Wasn't a huge selection on the menu for the evening meal but the food was tasty, it's advisable to book. There was a good selection for breakfast

Overall, a pleasant stay in the Loch Ness area. The hotel offered easy and convenient parking, which was a big plus. The room was a bit outdated and could benefit from some modernization, but it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. There is also a nice café on the first floor, which was convenient for coffee and a quick bite without having to leave the hotel. While the property isn’t particularly luxurious or modern, it was comfortable, well-located, and served its purpose well. I would consider staying here again when visiting the ar

Shower was either hot of scalding & to o difficult to get right, just a trickle no power, it was awful! Tiny room. Restaurant way overpriced. Only good thing was the very helpful parking lot attendant who was helpful & great. Not a good experience for me, outlook onto gravel & loads of weeds. Would not stay there again! Do not recommend!

Now marketed as the Drum Hotel, Expedia should do the same and not use Drumnadrochit Hotel! The room was small for a twin room and very basic for storing clothes etc. Overall the staff were helpful on reception when asked anything about visitor attractions. We only ate one breakfast in the cafe. Would have preferred a proper breakfast room with more obvious element of being served. The cafe had no yoghurt so one breakfast was unavailable and as it was Bank Holiday the reason we didn’t eat again there. The breakfast chosen included a hot drink but as one choice was peppermint instead of breakfast it was attempted to charge £3.95 for the tea bag! This was subsequently refunded but not the 10% service charge. Charging 10% service charge was a rip off as the customer does most of the work, placing an order at the counter, collecting cutlery etc with the cafe staff simply bringing the meal to your table. My advice would be for the cost charged, have the service charge removed.

I would recommend this hotel. They have a few different buildings that they have rooms in. The buildings are a little old but you can see they have tried to update them. With any booking you you make in the UK, always book the breakfast of you intend to eat breakfast. It will save you a ton if you prebook and pay for it.

Food was a big pass for me. If you book, don’t stay in rooms 12-20. There is some kind of wind tunnel on that hallway. Every time a door opened, our door rattled. From 730-930 pm it was a continuous rattle from a group coming in! We tried to stuff paper around the door to secure it, but no success. Hotel is really more like a pit stop for backpacking groups than anything. Good for a hot shower and ( hopefully) a good nights sleep
