Moxy Edinburgh Airport

Walking distance from the terminal. Public area was a little busy but bedroom was comfortable and clean. Great shower and decent towels! Midday checkout meant we didn’t need to rush. Definitely served its purpose.

The location is excellent for anyone flying in or out of Edinburgh airport. The walk to the terminal was 5-10 minutes. The rooms are a good size, with everything you need. The room was very clean. The lobby is modern and sometimes busy. Overall, we had a great stay.

Recommended! I stayed at the Moxy one night and was very pleased with my choice. It’s an easy walk (even with bags) from the airport terminal. My room was ready early so I was able to check in and get settled. The lobby has a wonderful book theme to the decor so I felt right at home. My single-bed room was small but perfectly adequate for a solo traveler and immaculately clean. The bathroom was also small but not so much that it wasn’t workable. The floor of the shower was a little slippery, but the bathroom was again very clean and the provided products filled and neatly arranged. The real star of the Moxy is its staff. Everyone I encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful, giving a wonderful welcome to a traveler from far away. The city’s airport bus stops just outside the hotel, allowing for a reasonably priced and quick ride into Edinburgh to visit the city during your stay. I enjoyed a pizza and drink at dinner in the bar/dining area in the evening, and there was a decent variety of hot and cold options for breakfast in the morning. Checkout was quick and easy, and again, a quick walk back to the airport.
