I went with my Son as we were going to a wedding and we couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. The owner Pam was very friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The room was large, spacious, clean and very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and filling . Once again Pam couldn't do enough to help make the experience a real positive one . Couldn't recommend this B & B enough. Thank you.

The location was fantastic with great views of the ocean and it was a quick walk into town. Pam was a great host and very helpful and her breakfast menu was varied and tasty with lots of options. The house aand room were very well maintained and you could sit in the front yard (which was also lovely) and have a cuppa and enjoy the views. The only slight negative was the size of the room..a little small for our luggage but we managed. Apart from that I would highly recommend it for a stay at St Andrews.

The only thing I didn't like was that it was too far for me to walk into st Andrews, and parking was difficult, so I had to use taxis . This isn't the fault of the B&B , but the Expedia staff member who recommended the place & said it was central , which it isnt. I had specifically asked for a central B&B where I could walk everywhere.

Pam was an exceptional host and we found our stay perfect in every way. The breakfast of local smoked haddock and poached eggs was a real treat and exceptionally cooked. The room was smart, clean and welcoming. The view over the beach was the cherry on top.

Pam was absolutely Wonderful! She did everything in her power to make our stay the absolute best. I would definitely recommend anyone traveling to stay with her. The room was very comfortable and updated. She made us a delicious custom breakfast every morning, and she did everything above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. She gave us recommendations for dinner, where to purchase golf merchandise, and even recommended a local taxi/ driver for us to use for the weekend. I will be staying with her again the next time we visit St. Andrews with my Dad.

Very nice stay with an absolutely lovely person running her place. Nice breakfasts and comfy beds. Rooms are quite small however but you manage for short stay. Loved the location as we are walkers and loved to walk into town. Would stay there again. Pam is extremely helpful in knowing where to go and what to do.

We are Seniors our 10 th visit to Scotland over the past 11 years always stay in B and B,s which we thoroughly enjoy, however this one was a bit different. Interesting to note there are lots of 4-5 stars. Too bad the hospitality was not extended to us. We stayed 2 nights , the owner did us “a favor”by serving breakfast 8 am, however we were told in no uncertain terms it was usually 9 am, we are both 80 yrs old, I have to take medication at 7 am , ( can do 8 am) however to much of a stretch to wait till 9 am, basically I received 2 emails from hostess , rather rude in the content, stating folk with “ special, needs should go to a hotel! My goodness taking meds at 8 am comes under special needs. Ok no big deal, we just left early and had breakfast elsewhere, ,interesting to note, on our previous travels in Scotland at all the b and bs it was standard for breakfast to be served 7-30 - 9 am. However since there was no chairs in room we felt it rather uncom sitting around for two hours. NB nowhere on the site did it state 9 am. Methinks a rather late start to the day for tourists. Please Pam no further accusatory emails to my private email. Re room choice of rooms it was explained to your friend that showed us the rooms on arrival and explained in full to you, please do not repeat a mute point ,the bottom line 450$ for two nights , was a too much , Thanks...

We were looking for an apt or home to rent as a family four. But due to it being the University of St. Andrews graduation week, there were no accommodations available within walking distance of town. We were able to secure three bedrooms for our week long stay. One bedroom was en suite and the other two (a twin and double, respectively) shared one bathroom. This worked for our family but is really more ideal for couples traveling alone or families staying for a shorter period. While our week long stay was lovely, and the freshly-prepared breakfast each morning was delicious, a self-catering arrangement with more room would be more amenable to families. The location and the views from this B&B are spectacular. And as a runner, I had easy access to the Fife Coastal path where I did a 10K run past the St. Andrews Old Course each morning. The proprietor is friendly, funny and very helpful. I highly recommend this B&B if self-catering accommodations and more space are not a requirement for your family or group. It's ideal for couples or a small group of friends traveling together.
