I really enjoyed my visit to The Hill Hotel. I had problems on the journey and arrived late and Jerry made me feel welcome from arriving to leaving. I would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel.

What a find,this hotel is .it's nicely situated good car park ,clean bright and extremely comfortable .Terry and Lynne are wonderful hosts ,nothing is too much trouble for them ,and they are always friendly and helpful .we have stayed here three times before and would not consider staying anywhere else .

My husband & I stayed at the Hill Hotel for 2 nights while in Dumfries. From arrival to departure, Terry, Lynne & staff provided exceptional customer service. Our room was clean and the property also looked immaculate. Our entire stay was relaxing and we would not hesitate to return to the hotel in future. We fully recommend it.

This is an impeccable hotel. The hosts are kind and helpful, and the breakfast is perfectly and excellently cooked. It is nicely situated: 5 minute walk from the train station, and just a 15 minute walk from downtown Dumfries. We loved our stay.
